Tae POV

"They've been gone for hours!" I groan while kicking my legs against my bed.

"They literally left 15 minutes ago Tae," Namjoon replies which causes me to glare at him.

I throw one of my pillows at him, which he catches and throws back at my face. "You're supposed to support me," I whine from under the pillow.

The bed slightly dips as he sits next to me and removes the pillow from my face. "I do support you. I was really impressed with your speech earlier too. I give it a solid 8 out of 10," he smiles while patting my head.

"Why not 10?"

He let's out a long sigh followed by a disgusted face. "I really didn't need to hear the part where you wanted to carry him to your room to do things to him. What part of he's my baby brother are you not getting?" He says in disbelief.

"Well no one asked you to stick around." Namjoon rolls his eyes and gets up.

"I'm going to bed. Dad needs me up early so we can meet with the lawyers and see how we're going to figure out the Seoyun situation." I nod my head and give him a small pat in the back. "Are you really going to stay up waiting for Jin to come back?"

I shrug. "I want to, but I'm scared."

"About?"

"Waiting for Jin only to find myself waiting all night." He brings his hand to rub my shoulder. "I mean it's what I deserve right?"

"We both know Jin isn't the kind of person to get revenge. He's just confused right now. I say keep fighting." With that he walks out of my room, leaving me to my thoughts.

Jin POV

My heart races the entire ride to the restaurant with Tae's words playing in my mind in an endless loop. How dare he say all those things to me? Who does he think he is, coming into my life to turn it all upside down and then tell me he still loves me? This whole situation is infuriating to say the least. I wanted nothing more than to enjoy a nice evening out with a friend, and that handsome, boxy smiling, hard-headed ass just had to creep into my mind and make me confused again.

"Jin? We're here," Sandeul says and I notice he's already parked and turned off his car.

"Sorry," I chuckle slightly emberrassed. "I have a lot on my mind."

"You want to talk about it?" He asks as we walk into the restaurant.

I smile and shake my head. "No, I just want to take my mind off of everything for now."

Sandeul gives me a reassuring smile and grabs my hand, leading me inside the restaurant. We spend the whole time catching up. He tells me how work has been at the hospital and I talk about the things Jimin and I did in Boseong after his visit. I purposefully decide to leave out all the things I've recently learned about my family as I'm still processing it.

"So what made you come back to Seoul?" Sandeul asks.

I finish chewing the last of my steak trying to think of a way to answer his question without telling him everything. "Aunt Min Seo wanted me back. She doesn't like being away from me for too long. Anyways I also really came to like it here. My friends are here."

"I'm here," he joked. His comment makes me chuckle.

"How can I forget the doctor who's emergency room I visited three days in a row." We both start laughing remembering how we became friends.

"You have to admit the reasons why you came were funny," Sandeul says between laughs.

I pretend to be offended and lightly smack his arm. "Of course its funny for you. You weren't the one dying."
