"Jin," I feel Jimin shake me gently. "We're here." I look out the window to see the familiar city I used to call home. We get our bags and exit the station and take a bus to my old apartment.

"Seokjin, you're back," my former landlord greets. "You look like hell," she adds

"Thank you Mrs. Yang," I answer sarcastically, "I was wondering if you had anything available? I promise I'll make rent on time."

"You're in luck, your old apartment was only occupied the six months you were gone. They left most of the furniture behind. As long as you don't miss a payment it's all yours." Jimin and I squeal in excitement and take out our wallets to make our payment.

"I must telepathically thank the past tenants for leaving a lot of their stuff behind." Jimin says as he throws himself on one of the beds. I hum in agreement and throw myself next to him.

"Thank you for coming with me." I mumble into the covers.

"It's what best friends do. There's no need to thank me."

"I'm sorry about Jungkook. You guys are perfect together. I'm not happy about him lying, but I don't blame him. Tae is his best friend.  He had every right to do what he thought would help him."

"I understand his reasons, but that doesn't take away that he had to lie to me to do it." He says, his eyes casting down.

"Did you tell him you were leaving?"

"No, I was scared he'd do what Taehyung did this morning. I gave Hobi a note to give to him. I'm mad at him, but I still love him. I told him I needed time, and I'll come back eventually, but that I understand if he moves on if I'm gone longer than seven months, which is the amount of time he and I dated." I furrow my eyebrows and look at him.

"How long are you planning on staying here?"

"I'll be here for however long you'll be here," he replies with a smile.

"Chim, you do realize there's a chance I'm not going back to Seoul right?"

"Yeah you are," he says confidently. "Even if you choose not to get back together with Taehyung, you still have college to finish. You don't have to go back and work for them, but Seoul has the best university in the country. You deserve to learn from the best. That's why I'm here, so you don't spend all your money on rent and food and you can continue to save for college. We split costs down the middle." I move closer and wrap my arms around him thanking him repeatedly.

"Let's rest for today, and we'll go grocery shopping and job searching tomorrow," I suggest getting my bag and heading to my old room to sleep.

One month later/ Tae POV

I ignore the pounding on my door as I shift in my bed. After I left the train station with Hoseok I came back home and locked myself in my room. I refused to open the door to anyone, and the only time my friends and brother came in was when Yoongi would pick the lock to open it. In the month Jin left we hired two new workers to fill Jin and Jimin's spots and help Min Seo who still hasn't spoken to me. She would always send someone to bring me my food, and refused to come talk to me no matter how much Namjoon begged her to. She was the mother I wished I had and I ruined our relationship as well.

I hear a drill and screws coming unloose and a loud thud. I turn around to see that Yoongi removed my door off the hinges. "I told you to stop leaving the door locked, so we can at least see that you're still alive," he says in a grumpy tone. "Now you've lost your door privileges."

"Go away," I groan burying my face in my pillow. I feel a shift in my bed and arms wrap around me.

I hear the person behind me take a deep breath in and let out a gag. "When was the last time you showered?" Jungkook asks covering his nose, and getting back up. I shrug in response, because honestly I'm not sure when the last time I showered was.
