A Crusade trough the Multiverse

knock, knock?

the way that "???" torments Gasper is inspired by a creepypasta.

Gasper: w-where am i?

asked the young vampire as he was no longer inside the coffin inside his room, instead he was standing in...a large room, VERY large room...there were two doors one on, one side of the room and one on the opposite side of the room.

Suddenly a loud knock was heard from the door behind Gasper, and a male teenage voice could be heard.

Male teenage voice: h-hey, buddy? ca-can you let me out? i need to exit but the door is locked.

Gasper: w-who are you?

Male teenage voice: please open the door!

shouted the boy as he started to knock on the door harder. Not trusting the boy behind the door Gasper run and opened the other door in the room and went inside it.

the next room he walked into was...a shack? it looked like the inside of a wooden shack you can find in the wood, it looked really simple, a bed, a table and chair, a bucket...for obvious reasons...

but the thing that was the most eye catching was a certain wardrobe...a big wardrobe the size of the one in "Narnia", and the weirdest thing was the fact that someone was hitting on the door from the inside, and a lady with a old voice was screaming out of it

Old lady: OPEN THE DOOR! OPEN THE DOOR!

Gasper: bu-but you cant lock the wardrobe doors

Old Lady: Open the door Boy! Open it!!

she said as she continued hitting the door from the inside of the wardrobe, she had a shaky voice and sounded panicked but seeing as this whole situation was weird to begin with Gasper wanted to exit this wooden shack and run away.

but when he stepped out, he found himself inside a empty classroom. To his left side he saw a Door to the storage room, and in front of him was the door to exit the classroom.

He was confuse but before he could ponder on his situation he heard someone hit the door to the classroom storage room, it sounded like someone wanted to break it down.

Man: OPEN THE DOOR! I NEED TO GET IN!

at this point he didnt listen and walked to the exit of the classroom but he soon started to run as he heard the man say

Man: You fucking brat! Open the door or i will rip your teeth out!

after that he just started running, he went trough multiple rooms, a empty apartment, a empty basement, a empty hotel room, in every room there were at least 2 doors or more, and behind one there was always someone begging, screaming, threatening to let them in. Old people, Young, Adults, Kids all kinds.

but the more rooms he entered, the more desperate they got, at some point the were no longer knocking...no longer begging, no longer screaming...just crying...

and then...

he was in his room in the basement of the ORC again...at this point all he could do was collapse and cry thanking God that it was over, he didnt even care that it hurt him when the headache hit him.

But it was not long lived as he head scratching and a soft laugh coming from...the inside of his coffin...he didnt know what to do, he slowly backed away from his coffin as the sound of scratching got more violent, and the laugh started becoming more...inhuman

whatever was inside, it knew that Gasper was there, it knew he was scared, and it felt a sick pleasure because of it.

at this point Gasper back was pressed into the wall, when the scratching changed into banging he tried to open the door to his room...but it was locked...

even trough his room was sealed, it was only so no one would come inside, but he could walk out and walk inside as much as he wanted, well thats how he was getting his snacks after all...

but now they would not open at all, they were locked. In a moment of desperation Gasper started knocking, he knew that there was likely no one behind his "bedroom" door but at this moment he was not thinking straight

Little girl: h-hello?

when he heard the sound of a little girl on the other side of the door he felt confused, but relived at the same time.

Gasper: c-can you open the door?! i want to get out!

Little girl: mommy said i cant talk to strangers...

Suddenly the wood of his Coffin cracked as he heard a loud BAM! coming from his coffin

Gasper: NO! please!

Little girl: i- i will go

said the girl clearly scared.

Gasper: wait!

he looked trough the keyhole of his door but what he saw made him freeze...one the other side there was...a empty gas station? and the girl just walked trough the exit...

Gasper: how-

he stopped as he felt a hand grabbing his shoulder and someones breath on the back of his neck, making goosebumps show themself on his entire body

???: enjoying the view?

Gasper: why...?

said the young vampire as he broke down and started crying, he felt her nails digging into his shoulder, tearing his clothes and piercing his skin, he didnt look but he knew she was smiling...

???: if you need to blame someone...blame fate, for giving you a power that my king called dangerous to his plans.

her nail now deep into his shoulder prevent Gasper from escaping. One could argue that he can easily escape by using his time-stop...but the thing is...he is using his time-stop ability, and its not working.

???: now, be a good boy and dont move, i will try and make this quick-

SUDDENTLY! a spear made of pure light pierced the door and went straight into the "monster" lady head killing her. after she hit the floor a bunch of runes on her back started to shine a bright scarlet color and her body started burning leaving nothing behind.

Rias: what are you doing! you could have hit Gasper!

heard the young vampire as soon a bunch of steps could be heard from the other side of the door.

(y/n): actually i think i just save him.

said another voice that Gasper didnt recognize as the sound of the steps got closer and soon they were right in front of his door.

---just before (y/n) threw the light spear / (y/n) POV---

[host, Gasper is about to Die, i recommend you to throw a light spear into the upper left side of the door to try and save him]

said the system to (y/n) as he and Rias together with her Peerage were running trough the empty corridor of the ORC basement. When he said that Gasper is in danger and they needed to be teleported "RIGHT NOW!" they didnt even ask how he knew about him and just went into action

the Door to Gasper "bedroom" was visible but still a little distance away, it would take at least 3-4 seconds before they could open the door and go inside but (y/n) system apparently thought it was not enough.

praying to God, to hit whatever was one the other side of the door in front of him (y/n) created a light spear and threw it right where the system told him to.

Rias: what are you doing! you could have hit Gasper!

said Rias clearly angry at the young crusader.
