"I'm supposed to help build the Miss Mystic Falls float for the Founders Day parade. If I don't I get the wrath of Caroline" Evelyn said to her sister

"Yeah, I am too. I'm not sure I want to help anyway" Elena told her sister

"No. You do not get the back out. If I have to do this you're helping" Evelyn told her sister

"Come with me. We need to talk" Alaric said walking up to Evelyn, Stefan and Elena

After Alaric explained that he saw Isobel. Damon walked into the class

"Sorry, I'm late. My dog my, uh... What's with all the furrowed brows?" Damon asked looking at them

"I saw Isobel last night" Alaric informed him

"Isobel's here? In town? Did you ask about Uncle John?" Damon asked the teacher

"No," Alaric said

"No, they're not?" Damon asked

"No. I didn't ask" Alaric just said looking down

"What about the invention?" Damon questioned

"Didn't ask," The teacher told him

"Does she know about the tomb vampires?" Damon persisted

"I don't know" Alaric just replied.

"Did words completely escape you?" Damon asked him

"I was a little distracted by my dead vampire wife to ask any questions" Alaric snapped

"What's she want?" Damon asked them

"She wants to meet us, Damon," Evelyn said

"Alaric is supposed to strange a meeting. We don't know why or what she wants" Stefan explained

"You don't have to see her if you don't want to," Damon told the twins

"We don't really have a choice," Evelyn told him

"She threatened to go on a killing spree," Elena told him

"Oh. I take it that's not okay with you guys?" Damon said

"No. Damon it's not" Evelyn snapped

"We wanna do it. I wanna meet her. If we don't, we know we'll regret it" Elena explained

"Eve. You sure?" Damon asked the younger twin

Later that day Elena and Evelyn we're sitting in a table at the grill waiting for Isobel

"I'm nervous. Is it okay to be nervous?" Evelyn asked her sister

"We're meeting our birth mother for the first time. We have a right to be nervous" Elena said holding her hand under the table

"Can you hear me? Thank you for coming" Elena said to Stefan who was across the room

Just then a woman walked up in front of them

"Hello, girls. You look just like her. It's eerie" Isobel said sitting down

"Well, we're not obviously. We're not slutty, manipulative bitches" Evelyn snapped

Isobel chuckled at her sass

"You've met Katherine?" Elena asked

"She found me after I turned. Generic curiosity I suppose. She would be fascinated by you" Isobel explained
