Evelyn had been gone for about a month and a half and she had to choose the worst time in the world to leave. The day after she left she was informed that Stefan stole Klaus's family which almost made me come back and punch him, but Elena convinced her to not come back. She was also told how Klaus was doing everything to get them back, including trying to run Jeremy over, when Evelyn was told this she immediately rang Klaus and ranted to him for 15 minutes about why not to kill Jeremy and what she will do to him once she gets back, the speech also included dozens of insults. She was also told how Alaric was in the hospital because he saved Jeremy, Evelyn wanted to come back but he told her he was fine. After Elena rang telling her how Klaus got his family back and undaggered them, Evelyn was surprised, but what shocked her was being told Klaus's mother was back and alive, she decided it would be the perfect time to come back. The doors to the Mikaelson mansion opened and Evelyn walked through, as she looked up she 6 people standing on the staircase. Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, their mother, and 2 unknown men. But Evelyn was drawn to the youngest one. When they locked eyes it felt like the whole world disappeared and it was just them. Everyone turned to look at her including her sister who was shocked to see her.
Elena immediately brought her in for a hug
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming back?" Elena asked
"Well, you know me, want to make a dramatic entrance," Evelyn said with a laugh
"Hello, Evelyn," Stefan said kissing her cheek
"Hello, Stefan. Are you back to bunny munching?" Evelyn asked
"That is a question I do not have an answer to," Stefan said
"Peppy Gilbert, God, I missed you and your stupid insults," Damon said hugging her
"Yeah, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings when I called you stupid. I really thought you already knew," Evelyn told Damon
"There it is," Damon said with a smile
Evelyn looked back at the staircase to see the man staring at her, he smirked and lifted his drink to her taking a sip. Evelyn just raised an eyebrow and looked away
"Well, we need to go dance, we have to do a waltz," Elena told her
"They do realize this is the 21st century right?" Evelyn asked as she took Damon's arm and let him take her to the ballroom

"I don't believe we've met, darling," He said
