Evelyn drove up the driveway to where Rebekah and Elijah were staying with Hope. She smiled as she saw Klaus holding Hope with Hayley beside him

"Meet your Aunt Evelyn," Hayley said as Klaus handed her his daughter

"Hey there. You are so much cuter in person," Evelyn said bouncing Hope as the baby giggled

The Mikealsons watched with smiles on their faces as they saw her happy

Evelyn was inside playing with Hope as the others talked outside about the curse on the first born Mikealson's. Klaus had already told her all of this

"Go to mummy," Evelyn said handing Hope to Hayley as she walked in

"Were doing Hopes first bonfire season, and we're burning wishes," Hayley told her

"Ah, Kol always told me about that," Evelyn said sitting on the couch

"Are you okay?" Hayley asked sititng down next to her

"When we find a way to take down Esther. She will take Kol down with her, I don't know if I can handle him dying again," Evelyn told her

"You're the strongest person I know. If anyone can get through this it's you. And we'll find a way to save Kol," Hayley told her as she laid her head on her shoulder

"Maybe," Evelyn said as Hope placed a hand on her cheek

Instantly she felt stronger and full of hope

"Holy Hope hell," Evelyn said sitting up

"What? Is she okay?" Hayley asked

"You cheeky little monkey, she used her magic on me," Evelyn said as Hope giggled

"What did she do?" Hayley asked her

"I don't exactly know. It's like she took all my worries away, she made me feel stronger and full of hope," Evelyn said

"Hey, I miss you," Evelyn said through the phone to Kol

"I miss you too, darling," Kol replied

"What are you up to?" Evelyn asked recognising the tone of his voice

"Nothing, just causing trouble," Kol said smiriking

"Don't get Davina in trouble, or Marcel will kill you," Evelyn told him

"He's already tried," Kol told her

"What? He is so dead," Evelyn voiced

"Don't worry. I won't get her in to much trouble," Kol said

"I swear you two are going to cause so much trouble, don't let her get hurt, if you do, I won't...speak to you for a day," Evelyn told him

"You wound me," Kol said sarcastically

"Ha-ha," Evelyn said

"Did you know that we're still engaged?" Kol said

"I'm very aware," Evelyn said smiling

"We should get married," Kol stated

"I would love to, but I would much rather you be in your own body," Evelyn responded

"Fair enough," Kol said

"Well, I have to go we're doing Hopes first bonfire season and burning wishes," Evelyn told her fiance

"Ah, fun times," Kol said

"Okay be safe. Don't let your mother hurt you, I love you," Evelyn told him lovingly

"I love you to," Kol said and Evelyn hung up

Evelyn walked outside to see Elijah sitting down staring out into the distance

"What do you see? When she did what she did," Evelyn asked

"Things I've done, who I was, what about you?" Elijah told her

"People I've killed. Watching Kol die, watching him suffer on the other side. But there was this one... I was happy, me and Kol were mortal, we had children. We were safe," Evelyn explained

"We will find a way to save him, you won't have to watch him die again," Elijah said

"Yeah, I don't think that's on Nik's priority list right now," Evelyn said

"He may not show it often, you are his bestfriend, his sister. He will do anything for you," Elijah said

"Don't worry about me, worry about that crazy Aunt Dhalia," Evelyn said chuckling

"Ah, the curse of the first born," Elijah voiced

"Is there anyone in your family who isn't crazy?" Evelyn asked

"I don't think so," Elijah said and they laughed

Evelyn was sitting outside with Hayley and Hope as the others were inside talking about Rebekah taking Esther's deal so she can take her mother down

"Why do bad things always happen to us?" Evelyn asked

"I have no idea, but it's getting annoying," Hayley said

"Damn, this family has major family issues, I thought mine was bad," Evelyn said laughing

"Me too," Hayley said as Hope laughed making them laugh too

Rebekah and Klaus had left to go see Esther

Evelyn was watching over Hope as she slept so Hayley could tell Elijah about the unification ceremony for her pack

Evelyn ran up the porch steps to see Elena throw the white oak stake to Jeremy and him stab Kol in the heart

"No!" Evelyn screamed and ran in as Kol caught fire, he looked at her as he fell to the ground screaming, Evelyn had tears streaming down her face

"Eve," Elena whispered in shock

"I'm gonna kill you," Evelyn said but before she could take a step she coughed, she looked at her hand to see blood

She immediatly started choking on blood as it fell from her eyes and ears, Evelyn dropped to the floor beside Kol as blood pooled around the couple

Hayley ran into the room as she heard Hope crying, but saw nothing until she saw Evelyn

Evelyn had tears dripping down her face as her hands shook uncontrolably

"Evelyn, wake up," Hayley said shaking her

Evelyn let out a quiet gasp as she snapped out of it

"I'm fine," Evelyn said wiping her face

Evelyn looked over at the baby to see a concerned look on Hope's face

"Evelyn, what does Kol want with the pentagram diamond?" Klaus asked Evelyn over the phone

Evelyn thought for a moment, she remembered Kol bringing it up but couldn't remember what for

"I have no idea, why don't you ask him?" Evelyn suggested

"Well, he won't tell me and you two tell eachother everything," Klaus told her

"True, but I can't help, sorry," Evelyn said
