Damon opened the door to show the Gilbert twins standing there loosing nervous. He immediately gots smirk on his face
"Hello wonder twins," Damon said cheerfully
"Is Stefan here?" Elena asked
"Yup," Damon told the girls while popping the 'p'
"Where is he?" Evelyn asked already getting sick of Damon
"And good morning to you too," Damon said sarcastically
"How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything you've done?" Evelyn asked with a scoff
"And how can you be so brave and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib?" Damon asked with narrowed eyes
"If you wanted us dead, we'd be dead," Elena said strongly
"Yes, you would" Damon replied
"But we're not," Evelyn told him with a smirk
"Yet," Damon said making Evelyn's smirk falter but not drop
"Where is Stefan?" Elena asked getting straight to the point
"He's upstairs singing "The Rain in Spain" Knock yourself out," Damon said letting them inside
"Stefan?" Elena called out looking around
Suddenly a floorboard creaks and the girls start to feel uneasy in the big house
"Yes?" Stefan calls from the top of the stairs
"Where is Vicki?" Elena asked looking at him
"She's upstairs," Stefan said pointing upwards
"What happens now? Because my brother is searching for her with the rest of the town. What do I tell him?" Evelyn asked
"I'm working with her. It's gonna take time. She's am got a very volatile and impulsive personality. She's a drug user, that's gonna play a part in how she responds to this" Stefan said quietly
"So she's a vampire with issues? Well that just great, isn't it!" Evelyn said bluntly
"What am I supposed to do? Because I am lying to everyone that I care about. What's gonna happen to her?" Elena said starting to get emotional
"I'm gonna keep her here with me until I know that's she safe" Stefan whispered
"How long is that?" Vicki asked from behind Stefan
"We can talk about that later," Stefan tells her
"Hey," Evelyn said softly
"How are you?" Elena asked her
"How am I? You're kidding right?" Vicki asked with an attitude

"Coffee is our friend. It's the caffeine. It circulates through our veins and warms our bodies so we're not so cold to the touch" Stefan explained to Vicki while holding a cup
"Well, what I wanna drink human blood? Vicki asked from her spot at the dining table
"You're gonna have to learn to live with that urge and fight it on a daily basis, one day at a time," Stefan said trying to encourage her
"Oh, god. Don't start with that whole 12 steps thing. The school counsellor has been down that road. It doesn't work for me" Vicki told them
"It can work. It's your choice" Stefan persisted
