Elijah and Evelyn were sitting in a bar in New Orleans trying to find the person threatening Klaus

"So, what brings you to the big easy?" The bartender asked them

"I used to live here," Elijah said

"Really? When?" She asked

"Oh, feels like a hundred years ago," Elijah said and Evelyn tried to stifle a laugh

"I just moved here myself, what brought you back?" The bartender asked

"Well, his brother is here somewhere. We're afraid he might have gotten himself into a bit of a bind," Evelyn said

"You say that like it's a common occurrence," The bartender said

"He has a gift for getting into bad situations," Evelyn said

"See, we don't share the same father. Of course, that never bothered me, but my brother resents it deeply, never felt like he belonged. All told, he has a long history of getting himself into trouble," Elijah said

"And I'm guessing you have a long history of getting him out of it. What kind of bind is your brother in?" The bartender asked

"He believes there are people in this town that are conspiring against him," Elijah said

"Wow, narcissistic, and paranoid. Sorry, bartender with a grad degree in psychology, total cliche," She said

"Listen Camille, we're looking for someone who might shed some light on his current...predicament. She works here Jane-ann Deveraux, any idea where we can find her?" Evelyn asked

"No, but I know someone who might," Camille told them

Evelyn and Elijah were standing in a crowd of people watching a witch lead a group of tourists around

"Are you going to continue following me, Elijah," She said

"You know who I am?" Elijah asked

"Katherine Pierce," The witch said

"Not quite, guess again," Evelyn said

"Evelyn Gilbert, is that the one with the dead soulmate?" The witch asked whispering the last part

"Yes. That's me, don't bring it up again before I do something that could cause a scene," Evelyn told the witch

"Right. Original vampire always wears a suit. You and your family are famous amongst the witches, especially with your brother back in town," The witch said

"Well, Niklaus, is here because he learned that a witch is conspiring against him, someone by the name of Jane-Anne Deveraux," Elijah told her

"Well, if he's looking for Jane-Anne he's a little late," She said

"Are you telling us she's dead?" Evelyn asked

"Come on, her sister Sophie is gonna want to talk to you," She told them

The three walked down a deserted street to see a dead body lying on the ground with her throat torn out, people were surrounding her placing candles

"That's Jane-Anne?" Evelyn asked looking at the body

"Killed in public for anyone to find," Elijah said surprised

"Only people who come down here are the witches, now her sister has to take her body. Her spirit can't rest until it has been properly interred in the cemetery," The witch explained
