After Evelyn figured out that Dahlia somehow transferred her magic from her to Evelyn when she died, she had been doing everything she can to figure out how to bring Kol back and break the curse on Hayley and her pack

Ever since Davina became regent of the nine covens she's been trying to get her to confess the spell needed to break the curse but she was adamant on not helping as she was trying to show her people that they can fight back

Freya had been teaching Evelyn everything she knows about magic and helping her control it, as it could become very volatile at times

When Evelyn had not been looking for spells she had been spending her time with Hope, the two had created a strong relationship but it is clear she misses her mother

"I found it," Evelyn screamed and Freya rushed into the room

"What?" Freya asked

"I can bring Kol back," Evelyn said gathering the items needed

"Do you want to channel off me. It's a difficult spell," Freya suggested

"I'm fine. I want to see what I'm capable of anyway," Evelyn told her

Evelyn poured salt in a circle around her sat cross-legged in the middle

Evelyn started chanting and could feel the winds pick up around her

Suddenly she appeared in the ancestral plane

"Kol?" Evelyn called out

"Eve?" Kol said shocked from behind her

"Oh my god," Evelyn said running into his arms

"How are you here?" Kol asked her

"It doesn't matter. I'm here to bring you back," Evelyn said

"Davina isn't strong enough to bring me back," Kol said

"She's not doing the spell. I am," Evelyn told him

"But-How?" Kol asked confused

"I'll explain later, let's go home," Evelyn said grabbing his hands

"Wait. They're coming," Kol said looking around

Evelyn grabbed his hands and continued chanting and suddenly she was back in the compound with Kol in front of her

Evelyn opened her eyes and her and Kol wrapped their arms around each other and Kol kissed her head

"Oh my god," Freya muttered at seeing her brother

"I can't believe I did it," Evelyn said with tears in her eyes and Kol cupped her face with his hands and kissed her

"Who is this?" Kol asked looking at Freya

"Right...ugh, meet your big sister, Freya," Evelyn said

"That's impossible, you died-" Kol started to say

"It's a long story, I'll leave you two alone," Freya said cutting him off

Evelyn and Kol wrapped their arms around each other holding onto one and other for dear life

"How did you do that?" Kol asked her

"Uh, I'm sorta, kinda, a witch now," Evelyn said biting her lip

"But, how are you both?" Kol asked confused

"Let's just say, you have a crazy, powerful aunt, that gave me her powers when we brought your mother back to life to kill her," Evelyn said
