"Listen I'm not saying don't date the guy, I'm just saying take it slow" Bonnie said slowly
"You are the one who said to go for it," Elena asked confused as to why Bonnie is saying this
"Now I'm saying take it slow" Bonnie justified
"Why the about-face?" Evelyn asked as the three girls walked away from the car towards the school
"It's not an about-face," Bonnie said with a shrug
"You're single for the first time in you're entire high school career. It's a perfect time to play the field" Bonnie said
"Oh, because I'm so that girl," Elena said
"Seriously, what are you not saying?" Evelyn asked knowing something happened otherwise her friend wouldn't be saying this
"It's stupid," Bonnie said
Evelyn grabbed her elbow stopping her and said "Bonnie"
"What?" Bonnie said confused
"Spit it out," Evelyn said as they stopped walking
"I accidentally touched Stefan and I got a really bad feeling," Bonnie said
"Is that it? Bonnie" Elena said
"It was 'bad' bad" Bonnie tried to explain
"Is this the whole witch-mojo thing again?" Evelyn asked
"You know what? I'm just concerned. This is me expressing concern about my best friends new boyfriend, who is kinda friends with me other best friend" Bonnie said
"And I love you for it. I do. But I feel good. It's been a hard year and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that" Elena explained with her hands on Bonnie's shoulders. Evelyn just smiled hearing that her sister is kinda happy again.
"Morning Elena. Morning Bonnie. Morning Evelyn." Stefan said as he walked up to the trio smiling
"Hey, um, I gotta go find Caroline. She's not answering her phone. So see you guys" Bonnie explained hurriedly and walked off
"Bonnie, wait," Elena said but Bonnie ignored her and walked off
"She doesn't like me very much," Stefan asked noticed how Bonnie stayed away from him
"She doesn't know you," Evelyn said with a shrug
"She is my best friend and she's just looking out for me, but when she does, she will love you," Elena said to Stefan as they all started walking towards the front door of the school
"Here's what we're gonna do. Are you free tonight?" Evelyn asked
"Yes," Stefan said after a moment
"Perfect" Evelyn said
"Dinner, my house, 8:00. You, me, Bonnie and the lovely Evelyn. You two will spend some quality time and she'll get to see what a great guy you are" Elena asked as she noticed where Evelyn was going with it
Evelyn curtsied as Elena mentioned her name
"Mission accomplished," Evelyn said with a big smile on her face
Just as she said that Stefan suddenly spun around and caught a football centimetres away from his face
Both the twin's jaw dropped as they watched Stefan throw the ball back and as Tyler caught it he stumbled backwards
