It had been months since Hope, Klaus, and Hayley's daughter was sent away and since Evelyn fell unconscious, she had been slowly waking up, showing signs of movement but never gained consciousness. Davina had been trying to help but the witches forbid her from helping no matter how hard she tried. While Hayley had completely changed since her transition to a hybrid, Elijah had been trying to find the 12 stones forged with Klaus's blood to help him as he had been spending all his time painting and trying to find a way to wake up Evelyn. Kol, Esther, and Finn had been brought back to life but in different bodies, and Kol had been trying to see Evelyn, but Esther forbid him. Evelyn could feel the pull of Kol in her unconscious state but was unable to wake up

Kol had finally convinced his mother and brother to help him wake Evelyn up as this was the deal he accepted

The three sat in a circle in the cemetery chanting and drawing the power from the ancestors, but the spell they were using was a completely different one from Davina's. As Kol was currently still alive they could simply wake her up and cure her of the consequences of the other spell using Kol's blood

Evelyn was lying on her bed completely still when she gasped, the first thing she noticed was that the pull to Kol felt strange, different, almost normal like he was alive. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and found she had her normal strength back and the pain in her chest was completely gone, suddenly she heard a crash from downstairs

She walked down the stairs to see four men standing in the bottom of the compound, she could tell they were werewolves by the scent and knew they were Francessa's because of the rings on their fingers she immediately pulled two of the men's hearts out and severed the other two's heads as Hayley walked into the room

"Evelyn," Hayley whispered in shock

"Surprise, miss me," Evelyn said and Hayley hugged her

"How are you awake?" Hayley asked as she pulled the rings off of the werewolves fingers

"No clue," Evelyn said and suddenly heard more people coming

"I'm off to kill some werewolves, you can join me," Hayley said and ran off

Evelyn was left standing there surprised and slightly shocked at Hayley's behavior, she remembered her not being this bloodthirsty, but she also didn't know how long she was unconscious for or what had happened, so she wasn't going to judge

While she left Hayley to kill the werewolves she went upstairs to find someone or anyone in this case. As she walked up the stairs she saw a werewolf running down

"Going somewhere?" Evelyn asked and ripped his heart out

She just continued walking into a room where she heard groaning and saw Klaus on the floor dipping his paintbrush into a man's wound who was dead

"Am I interrupting something?" Evelyn asked standing at the doorway

"Eve," Klaus said shocked at seeing his best friend

"Did I mention that you look horrible," Evelyn said and helped Klaus up

He immediately brought her in for a hug

"How are you awake?" Klaus asked

"No clue, why is baby Mumma so bloodthirsty?" Evelyn asked

"Long story, will explain later," Klaus said and groaned as he felt more strength come back to him

Evelyn just walked out of the room and grabbed the heart from the man see killed and handed it to Klaus

"This is an apology gift for being unconscious for however long I was," Evelyn said as he took it from her hand
