It had been five years since the Mikealsons left New Orleans. The entire time Evelyn had been heartbroken but didn't let her show it to her niece, who had grown up into a beautiful little girl. Evelyn hadn't brought Davina back as Davina told her she wanted more time with Tim.

Evelyn walked up into the attic of the house they were at where they stored the coffins with the Mikealson family members inside

Evelyn had tried her hardest to find a way into their minds so she could talk to Kol but had no luck

Evelyn opened the lid to Kols coffin and stroked his face letting a tear fall but stood up as she heard a vehicle outside

Evelyn walked down the hallway to see Hope sitting on her bed coloring and smiled

"What are you doing?" Evelyn asked her

"I drew this for you," Hope said handing her a piece of paper

"Oh my god, this is amazing, thank you," Evelyn said and Hope hugged her

"Do you have to go?" Hope asked her mum and aunt as they shut the back of the truck

"We do. But we'll be back very, very soon. And I won't be alone. I'll call you every night, okay? In the meantime, you listen to Mary, deal?" Hayley said kissing two fingers to her lips

"Deal," Hope said doing the same and connected their fingers

"Okay, you better be good, okay? If you are I'll bring you back something, okay?" Evelyn said to Hope

"I promise," Hope said hugging her aunt

Hayley and Evelyn walked towards the truck

"Keep your guard up. Stay moving. You smell trouble, you run. Those folks back there, they have plenty of life. What you need to do is stay alive for your little girl," Mary told the two

"Everything we do is for her," Hayley said getting into the driver's seat

"Be safe. Call us if anything happens, and thank you," Evelyn said hugging Mary

"I will," Mary said and Evelyn waved to Hope getting into the truck

Evelyn and Hayley were sitting on a couch in a bar watching a girl, apparently, she was the only member of her pack alive. The last pack they needed to get the venom to wake the Mikealsons

The woman walked up to the bar and Hayley and Evelyn followed

"You look like you're having fun. What's the occasion?" Hayley asked

"I just finished my residency which makes me an official ER doctor," The woman said

"Congratulations," Evelyn and Hayley said at the same time

"Does it help with the guilt, given what you are?" Evelyn asked

"What did you say?" She asked

"Keelin, you need to listen to me," Evelyn said

"How do you know my name?" Keelin asked

"Got it from a friend, she said your grandma's maiden name was Malraux," Hayley told her

"You better back off right now," Keelin said showing them her werewolf face

"I wish I could. I need a favor," Hayley said doing the same

"Five minutes. Outside. We can explain," Evelyn said

The three walked outside and Keelin hit Hayley in the face and ran
