Evelyn and Kol were in the bar with all the dead vampires they killed. They were waiting in the cellar for Jeremy and Damon. Evelyn had helped Kol because he seemed deathly afraid, something she had never seen him like

"Looks like we're gonna have to find some new vampires. What a waste," Damon said

"What the hell happened?" Jeremy asked

"I confess. We did it," Kol said as he walked out with Evelyn

"Kol?" Jeremy asked

"Jeremy, good to see you, mate," Kol said

"Sorry about the mess. Was a little crowded when we got here. We need to have a little chat," Evelyn said

"Eve, what are you doing with him?" Jeremy asked

"This is Kol, my fiancee," Evelyn said

"Fiancee?!" Damon asked

"Did I not mention it? Oops," Evelyn said with a fake pout

"Care for a drink?" Kol asked

"He's underage, and I don't like you," Damon said

"Aw, come on Damon, since when have you said no to alcohol," Evelyn said

"Let's just cut to it," Damon said

"My brother bragged about his plan to complete Jeremy's hunter mark. It was easy enough to track this lot down. They were all hiding in the shadows. You know killing young vampires is easy, or old ones for that matter," Kol said and Damon looked at Evelyn who just shrugged

"Why? What's it to you either way?" Damon said

"Because in your zeal to find the cure, you risk waking someone very dangerous," Evelyn said

"You must be talking about Silas," Damon said

"What do you know of him?" Kol asked

"Nothing. Don't want to. Not our problem," Damon said

"It will be your problem when he comes here and tries to murder us all," Evelyn said

"A few hundred years back I came across a group that worshipped Silas. His followers told me he would rise again and when he did he would trigger the end of all time. Being an immortal being, you can see why I'm opposed to time's ending. So I murdered all of them," Kol explained

"And now here you are, willing to risk raising him in the search for the stupid cure," Evelyn continued

"We can't exactly sit back and let that happen, can we?" Kol finished

"We're not gonna back off the cure because you were told one to many scary bedtime stories," Damon said

"Jeremy, we were mates in Colorado. You're a smart lad. Won't you call off this imbecile treasure hunt?" Kol said

"I'm not calling anything off, 'mate'" Jeremy said

"Jer come on if you raise him everyone will die," Evelyn said

"No," Jeremy said

"Well, I could kill you. But then I'd risk Evelyn's wrath and I don't particularly want that. There would also be that pesky little hunter's curse, and I don't really want to be haunted for the next century. Better idea, I'll just rip off your arms," Kol said but Damon pushed Kol back

"Jeremy, run!" Damon shouted

Damon went to punch Kol but Evelyn grabbed his hand stopping him

"Come on Nik, we were only having some fun," Kol said though the phone

"Those vampires were for my hunter," Klaus said

"Make some more. There's no shortage of people," Kol said

"Wheres Damon Salvatore?" Klaus asked

"Right in front of me," Evelyn called out

"Yes, well, you've had your fun, let him go and come home, put Evelyn on the phone," Klaus said

"Hello, Nikky. How can I help you?" Evelyn said

"Evelyn, don't be stupid about this, just come back home or Kol will go back in a box," Klaus said

"Hey, no need to be nasty about this," Evelyn said

"Listen closely, stay away from your brother. You understand?" Klaus said

"Aw, do you really think I would kill my, brother? I wasn't going to let Kol kill him," Evelyn said and hung up

"Very good, now stab yourself a bit further," Evelyn told Damon

Damon just grunted and did it

"Oh, being able to compel vampires is such fun," Evelyn said smirking

"I"m gonna rip out your spleen," Damon said

"Not if I get yours first," Evelyn said and plunged her hand into his abdomen pulling out his spleen

"If you're gonna kill me, do it," Damon said

"I don't want to kill you," Evelyn said

"Darling, why don't you go wait in the car. I and Damon need to have a little chat," Kol said and Evelyn kissed him and walked out

Evelyn walked into a room in the mansion to see Rebekah holding a dagger to Kol's back

"Rebekah!" Evelyn shouted

"You'd really dagger me?" Kol asked

"If I do, Damon's compulsion ends and this is all over," Rebekah said

"And then you're no better than Niklaus. Daggering siblings when you disagree. Look at what this family has become. I mean, Elijah won't show his face, he's so disgusted by out bickering. This cure has ruined our family, and it hasn't even been found. Just imagine what would happen if it is," Kol said

"This family was ruined long before the cure," Rebekah said and Kol turned around with the white oak stake

"Kol!" Evelyn shouted

"I won't let you raise Silas," Kol said

Evelyn pushed Kol off holding him against the wall as he was glaring at Rebekah

"Hey, look at me, look at me," Evelyn said grabbing his chin

"Don't do this, you can't kill her," Evelyn said once he looked at her

"Put it down, Kol," Klaus said as he and Rebekah disappeared

"What compulsion did you put on Damon?" Evelyn asked

Kol stayed silent

"Kol," Evelyn warned

"I compelled him to kill Jeremy," Kol admitted

"What? You asshole, idiot, jackass, dipshit!" Evelyn said hitting his chest

"I'm sorry, I can't let Silas be raised," Kol said

"You need to undo the compulsion now," Evelyn demanded

"I can't," Kol said

"Yes, you can. Do it for me, we will get through this together," Evelyn said

After a few minutes, Kol broke the silence

"Fine, but when he is raised, we are leaving," Kol said

"Okay," Evelyn whispered as Kol pulled her into a hug

"I hate when we fight," Kol mumbled into her hair

"Me too. But you can't keep doing stupid things," Evelyn said
