Once Kol was hexed by Finn, everyone decided to not tell Evelyn straight away as they didn't want her worrying and instead of spending their last moments happy together

Evelyn walked into the compound to see Kol sitting on a couch wiping blood coming from his nose

"Hey, are you alright?" Evelyn asked

"Yeah. I'm fine. We should do something today," Kol told her

"Yeah, it's probably not the best time, what with Hope in danger and everything else going on," Evelyn told him

"I think they'll let you have one day off," Kol said

"Yeah, I don't know," Evelyn said

"Klaus," Kol shouted and he came

"What can I do for you?" Klaus asked

"I wanted to take Evelyn away for the day," Kol explained

"And I said that there's too much going on," Evelyn said

"It's fine. Go," Klaus said looking at his brother sympathetically

"What is with everyone today?" Evelyn asked

"Nothing, where do you want to go? But we have to be back for the wedding," Kol asked

"Right. Wedding, I know somewhere but it's a surprise," Evelyn said

"Aren't I meant to be the one taking you out," Kol said

"Not today, we can do that another day," Evelyn said smiling

"What are we doing in the woods?" Kol asked looking around

"When Davina died I found this spot," Evelyn said walking up to a small waterfall and spinning around

Kol looked at her trying to take everything in as he didn't have long

"Come," Evelyn said waving him over

Kol sat down as Evelyn sat beside him leaning against him

"I wish we could stay here forever," Kol said

"Me too," Evelyn said and kissed him

Suddenly Kol's nose started bleeding again

"Seriously, what is going on?" Evelyn asked

Kol stayed silent

"Tell me," Evelyn said

"Finn... he hexed me," Kol told her

"So, we can get Davina to undo it," Evelyn replied

"Eve... you can't undo it," Kol said as he watched Evelyn's eyes water

"What are you saying?" Evelyn said not wanting to believe it

"I'm dying. I have until tonight," Kol said

"No, no, we just got you back. We can put you into another body," Evelyn said

"He spelled me. I can't," Kol said

"No, we can do something, there has to be something," Evelyn said as tears streamed down her face

"There isn't, darling," Kol said pulling his arms around her as she cried
