It had been 3 months since Evelyn and Kol were in Mystic Falls. They had started off in Paris, then went to Italy, Rome, and ended up in Paris again. They were lying in the bed in the hotel they were staying at when Kol's phone started ringing
"That better not be who I think it is," Kol said
"Hello, Rebekah," Evelyn said answering the phone
"Ah. Evelyn, how are you?" Rebekah asked
"Great, until you interrupted something," Evelyn said with a huff
"Oh. I didn't need to know that. But I need your help," Rebekah said

Evelyn and Kol were walking down the hallway of Mystic Falls highschool and Kol was dragging Professor Shane, the thing Rebekah needed. Evelyn's heels were clicking as they made their way to the library
Evelyn slammed the doors opened and strutted in
"Look at this. You're even worse than Klaus," Evelyn said
"Ah. Evelyn, I missed you, show me," Rebekah said hugging her hinting to the ring

Evelyn, Kol, and Rebekah shoved Shane into a broom closet
"Kol and Rebekah Mikealson, and Evelyn Gilbert the doppelganger/original/soulmate. This is such a trip," Shane said
"Where's the cure," Rebekah asked compelling him
"Compulsion won't work, it's a little trick I picked up in Tibet," Shane said
"Right, well we'll just have to do this the old-fashioned way. Beat him until he tells you where to find it," Rebekah said and walked out
Kol walked forwards making the professor walk into the wall
"I would do this myself, but my fiancee is the best at this kind of thing," Kol said and they both smirked making Shane gulp
Evelyn grabbed his head sticking it into a bucket of water, drowning him
"Where is the cure?" Kol asked as she pulled his head out
Shane didn't answer so Evelyn just pushed him under again
"Where is the cure?" Kol asked but the professor didn't answer
"Hold him," Evelyn said pushing the professor to Kol
Evelyn grabbed a bottle of some kind of chemical
"Now, if you don't tell us, whatever this is, is gonna end up in you-" Evelyn looked at the bottle to see a warning "-do not ingest, well that's going out the window," Evelyn said and opened Shanes mouth making him swallow the liquid
He fell to the ground coughing
"I can do this all day, I haven't even gotten started," Evelyn said shoving his head into the water
"You're human. Why do you even want it?" Rebekah asked
"That's the beauty of it. You can have it. I just want Silas," Shane said
"No! What do you know about Silas?" Kol asked
"He's the world's first immortal being. Who just happens to be imprisoned with the cure. And I want to free him," Shane said and Evelyn shoved him back in the water
"Stop!" Rebekah shouted
"What? He wouldn't die," Evelyn said
"Did you not hear what he said? Silas will kill us all, sister" Kol said
"Silas does not exist. He is a fairy tale made up to scare children into eating their vegetables," Rebekah said
"Silas is very real. I know where he's buried, and soon I'll have the spell to wake him," Shane said
"Wait a second, You're lying. You can't get to him," Kol said
"Without his tombstone? Dozens to die in a blood sacrifice? Believe me, I know. I've done it. Those massacres are a pain to engineer," Shane said
"You're the one who got the council blown up?" Evelyn said
"It was a noble sacrifice. And temporary. Because once I raise Silas, Silas will raise the dead. He will bring back every last soul who dies on his behalf," Shane said and Kol suddenly stabbed him through the stomach
"You should be thanking me," Kol said once Shane died
"You killed my only chance at finding the cure," Rebekah said
"Silas on the loose with be hell on earth. I'm not sure about you but I quite like earth just the way it is," Kol said putting his arm around Evelyns waist
"And frankly sister...I don't think you can handle it," Kol said pulling the white oak stake out
"How did you get that?" Rebekah asked
"Way to easily," Evelyn said and the couple walked out
"Who is Silas?" Evelyn asked as they walked down the hallway
"The world's first immortal being, it is he said will bring hell on earth. I quite like earth, it has you on it," Kol said and kissed her
The couple walked down the hall when Elena and Stefan rounded the corner
"Hello, sister," Evelyn said
"Evelyn, what are you doing here?" Elena asked
"Had to pick up something for Rebekah," Evelyn answered
"Where is Shane?" Stefan asked
"Dead," Evelyn said and the couple walked off

"Evelyn, great to see you," Klaus said kissing her cheek
"Likewise. What's going on?" Evelyn asked
"Jeremy here needs his mark to grow, so I made him some vampires to kill," Klaus explained
"You guys should run, they're waking up, and they need human blood. You're human," Evelyn told Matt and Jeremy and they ran
