"The spell is complete. Tristan cannot cross the boundary of his own will, but we can enter and leave as we please," Freya said as she poured salt in a circle around Tristan who was on a chair unconscious

"I took the liberty of injecting him with hibiscus and mugwort to counteract any vervain in his system. All you have to do is compel him to give you the longitude of Rebekah's location," Evelyn said

"He says he's immune," Elijah said

"Well, I'll find some other way to make him talk," Evelyn said picking up a knife

"Will you?" Elijah said and Evelyn handed him the knife

"You're still upset I tortured Aurora without your permission," Evelyn said mentioning how her, Freya, and Hayley tortured the girl who had Rebekah

"Oh, Evelyn, I'm obscenely fond of torture, but yes. When I am entertaining, I like to be the one to choose precisely when and how we violate the guests," Elijah said

"But she was so annoying," Evelyn whined

"Fine. How should we proceed?" Freya asked

"Devastate his body, infiltrate the mind, steal the information we need. To that end, I invited a friend," Elijah said

"Elijah, I got your text," Hayley said walking in

"Unless she's violently teething, I don't recommend this as a daycare," Elijah said

"Jacks gone, and I don't know if he's coming back. I also don't really want to talk about it. So, which one of you will take Hope while I take my anger out," Hayley said

"Not me. I am extremely angry that I just brought Kol back from the dead and can't spend time with him, because some sire line bitches are planning something," Evelyn said

"Come here, baby girl," Freya said grabbing Hope

"Don't be such a baby or I'll give you something to really cry about," Evelyn said as Hayley bit Tristan

"You mistake me, my lady. I cry out only in grief. I was so struck by your beauty at the gala. And now, after this affront to my person, I'll be forced to pluck those lovely almond eyes from your perfectly shaped skull," Tristan said

"Is he flirting with you?" Evelyn asked Hayley

"My goodness, I could watch this forever. If only my sister wasn't trapped in the bottom of the ocean," Elijah said

"I'll ask one more time politely, Tristan. The coordinates, please," Evelyn said

"If I tell you, you'll just kill me," Tristan said

"Well, the alternate is significantly less pleasant," Elijah said

"I think I'll hold off any confessions. At least until the Strix arrives to free me. And burn your home to the ground," Tristan said

Evelyn was standing in front of Tristan chanting a spell as he was groaning in pain

"He's as weak as I can make him. If I push further, I might kill him. Not that I would care," Evelyn said

"Weak as I am, you still won't take from me what you seek," Tristan said

"It's an unpleasant thing delving into such a depraved and repellant mind. Tristan, unless you would like me to get the chainsaw, I recommend you give me what I 'seek'," Evelyn said and went into his mind

"What did you see?" Freya asked

"Just flashes. He's resisting me still. There was something else, a word. What is it? What is Cepheus?" Evelyn asked

"What's next, charades? While you guys host the world's most messed-up game night, you've got bigger problems," Marcel said

"Freya, would you mind dealing with this situation please," Elijah said

"Oh, no offense to your lovely sister, but you and I need to talk. I'm here on behalf of the Strix. And I'm not leaving without Tristan," Marcel said

"There really is no need for this. You two and I have much in common. For one, we both adore our sisters-" Tristan started to say to Evelyn and Freya

"Whatever we have in common, trust me, it's outweighed by the fact I want you dead," Freya said

"You must have spent centuries looking for your family, only to find animals. Treacherous savages who betray one another. Were you disappointed?" Tristan said

"They're my family. My blood," Freya said

"Such devotion. It is admirable," Tristan said

Evelyn woke up gasping to see a stake in her heart, she pulled it out gasping

"The Strix has no shortage of weapons," Elijah told them

"Yeah, at least they don't have Marcel," Hayley said

"I'm not so sure about that," Elijah said

"Look, I know he attacked you, but he could have used that thing on you, and he didn't. And, for what it's worth, he did save me," Hayley said

"And he healed me. A few minutes more and I would have been dead," Freya said

"Do I need to remind you that because of your beloved hero, Tristan is free, Rebekah is lost. This prohecy threatens to devour us still," Elijah said
