It had been days since Kol died and Evelyn fell unconscious. Davina had tried everything to wake Evelyn up but something was blocking her out. What Evelyn didn't know was that when she spoke to the woman it was days after Kol's death. After she was told what to do she was trying to wake up in the real world, but it proved difficult. As Davina knew she would have no luck helping Evelyn, she knew the only way to make sure she could wake up and be healthy was to bring Kol back

The Mikealson family were downstairs including their sister Freya, who they found out was still alive. They were talking about a way to defeat Dahlia when they heard a gasp from upstairs and they all disappeared to find the cause, Freya was left to walk and when she saw them in a room around a girl she was extremely confused

"Ow!" Evelyn said as her head was throbbing

"Evelyn, are you okay?" Hayley asked

"Yeah. Yup. Fine," Evelyn said as they all stared at her

"What? Is there something on my face?" Evelyn asked

"No, it's uh, how are you awake?" Klaus asked confused

"I have no idea," Evelyn said but had a hunch it had to do with the woman, but she wasn't going to mention it

"Who is she?" Evelyn asked looking at Freya

"Freya," Freya said

"As in...the sister that was killed?" Evelyn asked

"That's the one," Klaus said

"Wow. No one in your family really stays dead," Evelyn said

After they explained that Dahlia was here and they were trying to find a way to kill her, but she was too strong, Evelyn knew she needed to act soon, and to do that she needed to talk to Freya, alone.

"Hey, can we talk?" Evelyn asked Freya once she was alone

"Sure," Freya said

"I have a question. Does Dahlia just want power?" Evelyn asked

"Yes, she linked herself to me and channels my power, she wants to do that with Hope. She's also looking for a way to break the sleeping spell we have to endure," Freya said

Evelyn sighed in realization she the unfamiliar woman she met was right, she was perfect. The spell used to create the soulmate was extremely powerful and was made up of pure magic, and was also an unlimited power source, and with her original vampire status she could give Dahlia immortality and take her instead not Hope

"Right. Thank you," Evelyn said

"Where's Dahlia now?" Rebekah asked after they got back from the compound after their attempt to kill the witch

"She could be anywhere. There wasn't a trace of her left at the church," Elijah said

"She's done with us for the night. No doubt she wants us to take some time to wallow in our defeat," Freya said

"Defeat? I disagree. We saw her face, we took her measure. If that's the best she's got, quite frankly, I'm unimpressed," Klaus said

"Her aim was not to impress us. She wanted us to reveal our sole weapon. And like fools, we did," Mikeal said

"Am I hearing things or did Nik just exchange words with our father?" Rebekah asked

"Rebekah. I would know that wicked tongue anywhere. What mischief have you gotten yourself into now? No doubt the bastards doing," Mikeal said

"Enough. My patience, like this farce of a reunion, is at an end," Klaus said

"Agreed. There really is only one question to ask. What exactly are we doing?" Elijah asked

Evelyn quickly stepped out of the room and coughed blood, she noticed that this was the longest she had gone without doing it, she had a feeling that this was the unfamiliar switched doing

Suddenly she heard Freya scream and groaning she ran into the room to see Mikeal with the white oak stake in his chest and Freya cried

Evelyn helped Freya up and out of the room as she cried into her shoulder

"How badly do you want to take Dhalia down?" Evelyn asked Freya as she sat her down

"I want her to pay," Freya said

"I have a plan to take her down, but you can't tell the others," Evelyn said and Freya looked up

"What is it?" Freya asked

"I have something she would want, that would give her everything she has been looking for," Evelyn said

"The only thing is Hope...you?" Freya asked

"I'm a power source and immortal, she can use me," Evelyn said

"She wants magic not just power, you are a vampire not witch," Freya said

"I have a soulmate bond, that is pure, unlimited power. She can take me and leave Hope," Evelyn explained

"But. You can't. They won't let you, I can't," Freya said

"They can survive without me. Hope is their daughter if they lost her, I don't know if they'd survive," Evelyn told her

"We want to kill her though," Freya said

"I'm aware," Evelyn said

"Why would you want to die?" Freya asked surprised

"My soulmate is dead. Soon, I will become very sick, it would be like killing two birds with one stone," Evelyn said

"I can't agree. I have not known you long but I know how much you mean to our family. If you do this..." Freya said

"Then use me as a back-up plan, if another plan fails, use me, but don't tell them," Evelyn said

"Okay. But I don't agree with it," Freya said

"I know you don't," Evelyn said
