He waved his hand and multiple people came and stood beside each person
"Insatiable need. Exquisite pain," Klaus said and the people slit their wrists letting the blood drip into glasses. Evelyn just rolled her eyes
"Our victories, and our defeats. To my city, my home again. May the blood never cease to flow," Klaus said raising his glass
"And the party never end," Marcel continued
"To New Orleans," Diego said
"To New Orleans," Everyone said raising the glasses
Evelyn just shared a look with Hayley
"I understand that some of you may have some questions regarding the recent change in leadership, and I invited you here tonight to assure you that you are not defeated. No. My intentions moving forwards are to celebrate what we have, what Marcel, in fact, took and built into this- a true community of vampires," Klaus said
"What about her, the wolf?" Diego asked and Evelyn sat up about to stab him
"Evelyn," Klaus warned and she calmed down
"Had you let me finish, Diego, you would know that there is, of course, one further matter I would like to address. As many as you know this girl is carrying me child. Consequently, I trust you will all pay her the appropriate respect, otherwise Evelyn would kill you. However, I understand that some of you are concerned by this vicious rumor that I intend to use the blood of our child to create more hybrids. I assure you, I do not," Klaus spoke
"Father of the year," Hayley said and Evelyn started chuckling sharing an amused look with Hayley
"It appears I will have to earn your trust. Very well. We'll eliminate the root of your anxiety. You see, how can I sire more hybrids if there are no werewolves alive in the Bayou to turn?" Klaus said
"What? No," Hayley uttered
"Klaus, don't," Evelyn warned
"So eat, drink, be merry, and tomorrow I suggest you have yourselves a little wolf hunt. Go ahead. Have fun. Kill them all," Klaus said

"Going somewhere?" Diego asked Hayley as she tried to sneak out of the compound
Evelyn came up from behind him with Elijah
"Elijah. You shouldn't be here. Klaus has his guys watching me," Hayley said
"I wouldn't worry about them," Elijah said and two guys grunted as Rebekah walked out snapping their necks
"Come. We mustn't linger. Let's get you someplace safe," Elijah said
"No. You don't have to worry about me. Evelyn is here. I'm fine. I've been deemed under protection by the almighty Klaus. It's the werewolves who need help," Hayley said
"He ordered a wolf hunt as a dumb ass peace offering to Marcel's people," Evelyn explained
"You have to help them," Hayley said
"Out in the Bayou? Do we look like a bloody vampire rescue squad? I think you should be grateful we came to save you," Rebekah said
"Listen, Rebekah. All my life I've wanted to find my family and just as I find out they're out there in the Bayou, Klaus orders them killed," Hayley said
