Evelyn was walking down the street when someone approached her

"Are you Evelyn Gilbert?" A woman asked

"Who's asking?" Evelyn said suspiciously

"This is for you," The woman said handing her an envelope and walked away

'I do hope you can make it- Tristain'

The invitation said labeling at 'The Strix' party

"What the bloody hell is The Strix?" Evelyn asked walking into the compound

"It isn't your concern," Elijah told her

"Oh, but it is," Evelyn said

"It's an ancient vampire society," Elijah said

"So, basically a lot of Dracula's?" Evelyn asked

"No, darling, this particular society was founded by the one and only Elijah," Kol said walking in and putting an arm around her waist

"Seriously, your old sire buddies coincidentally show up here when there is a prophecy made, that's not concerning at all," Evelyn said

"You don't need to worry about dying," Elijah said

"Says the one who has a whole sire line of vampires protecting him, if you haven't noticed I'm not sired to anyone, ergo, if they wanted to kill someone, it would be me, and Kol if they wanted to," Evelyn said

"Not Kol his sire line would protect him," Elijah said

"I'm not sure if you have forgotten, but they died when he died," Evelyn reminded him

"Right," Elijah said

"Come with me," Evelyn said dragging Kol out of the room

"What's wrong?" Kol asked

Evelyn walked over to her desk opening a grimoire and flipping to a particular spell

"No!" Kol said immediately as he saw the spell

"I can do it," Evelyn said

"Only two witches have ever done it, it's too dangerous," Kol said

"Dahlia did it with ease, I can do it, I can do it on you," Evelyn said

"No way. Absolutely not, I am not risking you killing yourself to protect me," Kol said and walked out

Evelyn ignored his denial and sat down in a circle of salt, she cut her hand and poured blood into a bowl filling it halfway

Evelyn was about to do something risky, she didn't have Kol's blood to do it with so she was going to put the spell on herself and connect it to him threw their bond. She had no idea if it would work but she needed to try

Evelyn started chanting and she felt the winds pick up from all around her. She expected to feel weak easily as this was an extremely complicated spell, the same protection spell Dahlia cast on her that made her protected even from the white oak stake

Evelyn felt a surge of power and quickly finished the spell

"What did you do?" Freya asked running into the room

"Made sure Kol wouldn't get hurt," Evelyn said with a slight chuckle

Evelyn walked into The Strix party with her arm linked with Kol's, and she noticed everyone staring at them

"Why are they all staring?" Evelyn asked

"We're originals, darling," Kol said walking up to Hayley and Elijah

"Wow, it's a room full of Elijahs," Evelyn told them

"These vampires are ancient. How is Marcel supposed to beat them?" Hayley asked Elijah after they saw Tristain

"With guile, courage, perhaps a bit of trickery. Admittedly it's a long shot. But then, sometimes the new candidates surprise us. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tristan de Martel. And you must be the famous Hayley Marshall Kenner. Alpha to the crescent wolves," Tristain said kissing Hayleys said but she pulled it away

Making Evelyn and Kol laugh slightly

"Kol Mikealson, it is nice to see you again. Evelyn Gilbert, it is an honor," Tristain asked looking at Evelyn and kissing her hand, Evelyn sent a small shock to her hand with her magic making Tristain pull back and look at her surprised

"Could I have this dance?" Kol asked Evelyn

"You may," Evelyn said taking his hand and sending a wink to Hayley

"This room is full of egotistical, arrogant, kiss asses," Evelyn said

"Yes, well Elijah was a bit naive when he created this organization," Kol said

"I have a feeling you don't like Tristain very much," Evelyn said

"Oh, I've never liked him," Kol said

Suddenly Klaus and Lucien walked in drunk with a bunch of people

"My god. It's a room full of Elijah's," Lucien making Evelyn laugh as she said the same thing

"I had that exact same nightmare once. Go on, grab us a drink love," Klaus said

"Tristain. Tristain," Lucien called out

"You should move alone. You're not welcome here," Tristain said

"Oh. Okay, we're not welcome here. Or maybe you should move along before I make you cry in front of your little friends," Klaus said

"My concern is your companions. They appear out of sorts without a shiny pole to writhe upon," Tristain said

"Oh. He's suggesting their exotic dancers which to him is an insult. If not somewhat hypocritical. Don't take it personally, love. He finds all work demeaning. The only dignified way to accumulate wealth is by birth. Boop. Isn't that right, Tristain?" Lucien said

"Niklaus," Elijah said

"What is it?" Klaus said

"You're hammered," Evelyn said coming up to Klaus

"Which should come as little surprise to anyone here. But it does hammer the festivities somewhat. So, could I recommend that you find the nearest exit?" Elijah told Klaus

"You know, I used to find it insulting that I was barred from your special little club. But now I realize I lack the flexibility to become a member. I could never get my head far enough up my own ass," Klaus said

Evelyn and Kol laughed

Suddenly three big men started walking towards him, Evelyn clenched her hand into a fist making them not be able to move

"I suggest you don't touch him," Evelyn said walking up to Klaus

"Thank god, the party was starting to get boring," Kol whispered into his brother's ear

Suddenly she heard groaning and things breaking and she and Kol stepped away from Klaus and walked to the room to see Marcel fighting a guy with people watching

Evelyn watched as he stumbled and caught him
