Evelyn's eyes snap open as she heard a bang coming from downstairs. She sits up gasping looking around confused. She threw her bedsheets off of her and walked towards the stairs
"Hello?" Evelyn asks looking around
Looking over the rail and seeing nothing
"Jeremy?" Evelyn asks starting to get nervous
Just then a shadow is seen from downstairs
"Jeremy. Seriously if you are messing with me, you are dead meat" Evelyn said trying to sound confident
Not hearing a reply she quickly walks down the stairs. Walking into the kitchen
"Hello?" She calls out to no one in particular
Flicking the light switch she found that the power was out, that adding to her nervousness
"This is Logan Fell coming to you live from Mystic Falls. With breaking news of another deadly animal attack. The wild animal terrorizing citizens has claimed another victim. Local high school student, Evelyn Gilbert. Police are certain that evidence will confirm that this is the same animal responsible for recent attacks" The TV said as it turned on mysteriously
Evelyns breath got stuck in her throat at seeing the news
"You know what's coming next," Damon said from behind her
Evelyn quickly ran towards the front door wanting to get away from this horror scene
Just as she opened the door she found Damon waiting there with a smug look on his face
"AHHH" Evelyn screams quickly shutting the door. Trying to catch her breath she leans against the front door. Until she sees Damon standing in front of her. He quickly disappears and she looks around worriedly
Suddenly she feels a hand on the back of her head, pushing it back exposing her neck. She lets out a high pitched scream and she felt something pierce her neck
Evelyn sits up gasping, sweat dripping down her forehead
She trudges down the stairs still in her pajamas not having enough energy to get changed
"What happened to you?" Elena questioned her sister noticing how on edge she looked
"Bad dream" Evelyn states with an exhausted expression
"Well. I made coffee" Elena said handing her, her cup of coffee
"Thank god. You're an angel" Evelyn said grabbing the coffee and gulping half of it down
Both the twins walked into the kitchen hearing
"Scum ball," Jenna said staring at the TV
"Scum bucket" She repeats
"Who are you talking to?" Evelyn asks as they see he leaning on a dining room chair
"Him," Jenna said nodding her head towards to news reporter on the TV
"The news guys?" Elena asked confused
"Also known as Logan "Scum" Fell. Did your mum ever tell you why I moved away from Mystic Falls?" Jenna said looking at the twins
"Oh, no way," Evelyn said with a laugh
"You and him?" Elena asks laughing
"He's cute," Elena said staring at Logan
"Eh," Evelyn said leaning her head to the side
"Thank you, Evelyn. He is not cute. There is nothing cute about him" Jenna said turning the TV off
