As Elena and Evelyn were getting ready in the bathroom Evelyn saw her brother sitting at his desk drawing

"Look at Jeremy" Evelyn whispered to her sister

Elena turned her head to see her brother and a large smile broke out on her face

Once they got down the stairs they saw Jenna gathering her stuff

"Jeremy's got his sketch pad out," Elena said from behind her aunt

"You're kidding" Jenna said in disbelief

"Nope, but don't say a word. The minute we encourage him he'll put it away" Evelyn said

"Psychology major. Check that" Jenna said making them all laugh

"You and Stefan?" Jenna asked seeing Elena look at her phone sadly

"He knows how I feel and where I stand. And I know where he stands, but it doesn't matter he's leaving, moving away" Elena said putting on her jacket

"Where's he going?" Jenna asked her niece

"She stopped asking questions" Evelyn answered for her twin knowing this was hard for her

"Yours leave, mine returns" Jenna said and they walked down the steps

"Logan?" They both asked

"He's back. I didn't let him past the front door" Jenna told them

"I hope you slammed it in his face" Elena said

"Ah, medium slam" Jenna said being honest

"Three-strike rule, Jenna. You're not even allowed to watch the news" Evelyn reminded her aunt

"Exactly no more Logan "Scum" Fell" Jenna said as the girls walked to their cars

"Did we miss something?" Elena said as she watched Caroline and Matt talk

"They've been hanging out," Bonnie told them

"Kind of weird don't you think?" Elena asked them

"She needs someone nice like him" Evelyn reminded her

"As opposed to a homicidal vampire like Damon" Bonnie told them

"Yeah, how are you doing with all that?" Elena asked her

"I'm freaked out. Damon attacked me. I could be dead right now. But I'm also grateful. To Stefan, he saved my life" Bonnie told the twins as they walked down the school's hallway

"Have you seen him?" Bonnie asked Elena

"Not since he told me he was leaving. For all I know, he's already gone" Elena said putting her things in her locker

"He wouldn't leave without saying goodbye," Evelyn told her sister leaning against a locker

"Yes, he would. He thinks he protecting me. A clean break and all that" Elena told them

"So what are you gonna do?" Bonnie asked watching her carefully

"What am I supposed to do? I already begged him not to go. If I ask again I'm being selfish. It is what it is" Elena said

"Oh. Maybe it's for the best" Bonnie said with a shrug

"What? Why?" Evelyn asked confused

"I mean, what kind of future could you have had with him," Bonnie told Elena
