It was the next day and Klaus was staring at the couple as no one had come yet. Evelyn was almost dead, her heart barely having a beat, the soulmate bond was killing her

"Morning, sunshine, you look pathetic," Tyler said walking into the house

"Only until Bonnie's spell wears off, then I'll look different. Angrier perhaps, or I won't look like anything because I will have gorged your eyeballs out," Klaus said

Tyler was about to say something when he saw Evelyn

"Oh my god, what happened?" Tyler asked crouching down beside her

"When they killed Kol they knew he was their sister soulmate, they didn't care and these are the consequences," Klaus said

Tyler immediately called Caroline as he didn't know who else to call as everyone had left

"You're still here? What are you doing?" Caroline asked

"Drinking," Tyler said drinking bourbon and looking at Evelyn

Caroline turned to see what he was looking at and gasped when she saw her friends body

"No, no. What happened?" Caroline asked Klaus

"They killed Kol but forgot he was their sister's soulmate. A part of her died when he did, she may not make it," Klaus said looking down

"They just left her here," Caroline asked in disbelief

"Ran straight out the door," Klaus told her

Caroline immediately called Bonnie

"You need to let Klaus out," Caroline told Bonnie

"I can't I have to be there, we are all in Nova Scotia right now," Bonnie told her

"Klaus needs to heal Evelyn!" Caroline exclaimed

"What happened to Evelyn?" Bonnie asked confused

"When Kol died something happened to Evelyn, she's almost dead," Caroline said

"I really wish I could but I can't," Bonnie said and Caroline hung up

Caroline picked up Evelyn and put her down on the couch

"She watched it happen?" Caroline asked

"We both did, she ran straight through the door as Jeremy killed him," Klaus told her

"How can we save her?" Caroline asked

"I'm not sure. Soulmates are extremely rare. But they weren't naturally made soulmates, my mother turned them into it, I have no idea what could help her," Klaus said

"No, she has to survive, this isn't how it's supposed to be. She was supposed to be happy," Caroline said

Caroline got up and covered Kols body with a sheet

A few hours later Klaus decided to ring his sister

"Klaus," Rebekah answered

"Where are you, I need you to get Evelyn home," Klaus told her

"Sorry can't babysit, I'm in Nova Scotia," Rebekah told him

"They killed our brother and Evelyn is about to die and you're with them," Klaus shouted

"What happened to Eve?" Rebekah asked concerned

"When they killed Kol they almost killed her too, she's currently still bleeding out and on the verge of death," Klaus said

"I am going to kill them," Rebekah said and hung up
