Evelyn was walking out of a shop when she saw Freya being followed by three men as she got to the parking lot where Freya was she saw a man punch her, without blinking all their heads got incapacitated

Evelyn grabbed Freya and pulled her over her shoulder

"Hey, what happened?" Hayley asked as Evelyn walked into the compound with Freya over her shoulder

"She got jumped. Three vampires, all dressed like Dracula," Evelyn said

"The Strix," Hayley said

"They took it. The Serratura. I was meeting with a witch from the bloodline who built the lock. I was hoping she could help me destroy it, but it's not possible. She said the only way to get rid of it is to use it," Freya said holding her broken arm

"Here," Evelyn said crouching down in front of her and healed it

"We need to get it back and lock something else away. Anything but my family," Freya said

"Wait. Why don't we pay Tristan a visit, and ask him nicely?" Hayley said

"I'm afraid we have a far more urgent problem," Elijah said walking in

"Bloody hell," Evelyn said

"Well, to be fair, I am the prettiest urgent problem you have ever seen," Rebekah said walking in

"Give me the bad news, doc," Rebekah said

"Aya's stake was cursed. It infected you. As this mark grows, you'll go mad," Freya said

"Left unchecked, you will become a relentless, unstoppable ripper. Stefan Salvatore 2.0," Evelyn huffed

"Aya always was thorough," Rebekah said

"Strix always employs a safeguard. In the event that we were successful at retrieving your body, you were cursed. You see, if one is on a rampage, one is not difficult to hunt. Can you fix this?" Elijah said

"The spell was carved here. I can reverse it, I just need some time and a hell of a lot of magic," Freya said standing up but passed out

"She was fine. I healed her," Evelyn said

"The scratch is not healed. This is poison. This is an assassination attempt," Elijah said

"She's waking up," Hayley said

"I feel weak," Freya said

"The vampires must have stabbed her with something," Evelyn said

Evelyn knew Freya could barely float a feather right now and she was the only option the help Rebekah, but Freya wasn't very helpful as she was barely conscious and the words on the stake were in a language Evelyn didn't know

Evelyn was trying a reversing spell but it wasn't working as it wasn't created for this particular curse

She got up and went downstairs when suddenly she felt magic upstairs

"Freya!" Evelyn said as she saw Freya with blood coming out of her eyes as she tried reversing the stake, she immediately grabbed Freya's hand and let her channel her

Freya created a blade and Evelyn ran down the stairs to see Klaus and Elijah holding Rebekah on top of the table as she screamed

"Hold her," Evelyn said

She started cutting the infected mark while chanting, and when she pulled the skin off Rebekah fell unconscious

"Well, that was annoying," Rebekah said sitting up

The Mikealsons including Cami and Jackson were all standing around the Christmas tree

"Come on, it's tradition," Rebekah said as she lit a fire

"Tradition?" Cami asked

"We write our wishes and burn them for good luck. Strangely, I don't recall wishing for an influx of enemies," Klaus said

"How odd," Elijah said

"One of us is still meant to fall by family," Rebekah said

"Right now, what concerns me is our enemies. They have the weapon they plan to use against us. They cannot know we found you, Rebekah. Our best advantage is if they believe you are lost at sea," Klaus said

"Then I can't stay, can I?" Rebekah said

Evelyn and Kol were standing outside swaying under the stars in each others arms

"You know what sucks," Evelyn said

"What?" Kol asked

"I brought you back and I can't even spend any time with you, and now with this prophecy, I might lose you again," Evelyn said

"I know. But all we can do is remember this moment," Kol said and kissed her

Evelyn and Kol walked into the room to see Rebekah saying her goodbyes

"You didn't forget about us did you?" Kol said

"How could I?" Rebekah said hugging her brother

"Take care of them and yourself, okay?" Rebekah said hugging Evelyn

"I will," Evelyn said
