Evelyns outfit ^^^
(This will be a short chapter as she wasn't in New Orleans)
Evelyn drove past the welcome to Mystic Falls sign and took a shaky breath
She knew Elena burnt down their childhood home but she needed to be there
She parked outside of the bulldozed area and stepped out of her car. She looked around and noticed how nothing changed but her whole life had changed
She took a deep breath and walked and stood in the spot where their kitchen was, she felt tears fall down her face and coughed blood, she quickly left before it got any worse
She decided to go to the Mystic Grill but hoped she wouldn't run into anybody familiar
She walked in and sat at the booth
"Elena, hey," She heard Matt say and the name made her tense
"I'm not Elena," Evelyn said
"Eve?" Matt mumbled
"Yup" Evelyn said popping the Pop
Matt immediately hugged her
"I missed you, everyone will be so happy to see you," Matt said
"No, you can't tell them i'm here," Evelyn said
"Okay, you want your usual?" Matt asked
"You know it," Evelyn said
After she ate her meal she was about to leave when she saw the familiar face of Damon Salvatore and froze
He looked at her and froze in shock
"Eve?" Damon said appearing in front of her
"It's me," Evelyn said and he hugged her and picked her up
"You have no idea how hard it's been without you," Damon said
"I can only guess," Evelyn said and coughed blood
"Are you alright?" Damon asked her
"I'm really sick, but I'm fine," Evelyn assured him

After the little catch up Evelyn needed to do what she came here for, visit Kols grave
She placed flowers in front of it and sat down
"God, this is harder than I expected. I've been trying so hard since you died, but as you can see it's not that easy. I miss you so much I can't breath and I don't know how much longer I can survive, I've tried so hard to forget the pain but it came back to bite me in the ass, I guess. I don't know how I can live without you, it doesn't even feel like living, just surviving..." Evelyn said and started talking about how much she missed him
She travelled between Mystic Falls and New Orleans before going back as she needed some time before going back to the drama
