Jungwoo practically jumped off the bike the second they pulled into Johnny's driveway. His hands were still trembling slightly because of how nervous he had been the entire time.
"You okay?" Doyoung asked as he reached out to pull the helmet off of the younger. The only response he got was Jungwoo staring down at the pavement blankly. He gently placed a hand on the boys shoulder, "Jungwoo."
Coming back to reality, his head snapped up to look at Doyoung, "Huh?"
"I asked if you were okay?"
"Yeah, Fine. Can we go inside? It's cold."
Doyoung nodded before walking towards the door. He didn't bother knocking and just walked right in as the door had been unlocked. "Johnny, I brought Jungwoo with me," He called out.
They walked into the living room, and Jungwoo almost screamed at the sight. Ten was on top of Johnny's lap as they aggressively made out. Doyoung cleared his throat, causing Johnny to basically throw Ten off of his lap, "Oh Jungwoo! Hi! You're here, in my house!" Johnny said awkwardly.
"John, you asshole, he knows," Ten muttered from the floor as he rubbed the back of his thigh.
"You—you told him!" Johnny yelled, an almost angry edge to his voice, "Ten, you of all people should know what happens when you tell people!"
The small boy rolled his eyes, even though everybody could see the tears threatening to fall, "Maybe I'm just fucking tired of not being able to tell anybody!" He pulled himself off the floor and disappeared down one of the seemingly endless hallways.
"I—I'm sorry...maybe I shouldn't have come over," Jungwoo whimpered, feeling like all of this was his fault.
Johnny quickly shook his head, "No, you're fine. I just shouldn't have yelled at him."
A shy smile formed on Jungwoo's lips, "Do you want me to go talk to him? I mean I can try my best."
"Maybe you should," Johnny admitted, knowing his boyfriend probably wouldn't even talk to him. He looked up and saw Jungwoo standing in front of the hallway with a puzzled look on his face. "I'm guessing second door to the left."
Following the directions, Jungwoo walked into what looked like a guest bedroom. Ten was sitting on the bed, his knees pulled up to his chest. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly, not at all knowing how to start the conversation.
The elder looked up and smiled, "Yeah, I think so. I don't know why I exploded like that."
He nodded, "I think I can understand, you really love Johnny but you have to keep him a secret. That must be hard."
"I just hate that I can't be open with my relationship without fearing for my life," Ten choked out, "it's not fair."
"Can I give you a hug?" Jungwoo asked quietly. Ten looked up and nodded rapidly. He hopped off the bed and ran over to his friend, burying himself in the boys arms. "I don't think this is anything you should be ashamed of...but people like to tear down others happiness for some reason."
Ten sniffled slightly, trying to keep the tears in, "I'm really glad you came over...but why are you here? This doesn't seem like your normal scene"
"Honestly, I don't know. Doyoung invited me and I just didn't want to go home I guess." Sitting down on the bed, Jungwoo took a few deep breaths as he felt himself slowly falling apart. He never had anybody to talk to about...life in general. He's was a man, and society made him feel like he should be ashamed of having normal human emotions. He couldn't talk to Jiwon or his mother, neither of them would want to listen to him, but Ten, Ten seemed to be the only person he could actually talk to. Everything had just been building on each other for the past couple months, and he didn't know how much longer he could hold it.
A small pout formed on Ten's lip, "Why don't you wanna go home, babe?"
Jungwoo fidgeted with his hands nervously on his lap. "If I'm not home, I have an excuse for not answering Jiwon's calls."
"Is this still about that argument you had?" Ten asked, genuinely curious why the boy didn't want to talk to his girlfriend.
"Y—Yeah. She wants to have sex...but I don't want to—at least not now." The younger looked up and quickly shook his head, "I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from."
Ten smiled at the boy, "Don't worry about it. We're friends now, I'm here to listen. Anyway—you don't have to be ready for anything, it's your body."
"B—But I'm a boy. I'm supposed to want this."
"Hey, you don't have to want anything. It doesn't make you any less of a man if you don't want to sleep with somebody. It's a big step, you need to make that decision for yourself." Ten said truthfully. From the few days he had known Jungwoo, he had noticed how utterly lost the boy was. The younger seemed put together on the outside but he really didn't know who he was in any aspect. Ten just wanted to help him figure that out.
✨✨✨
Ten and Jungwoo spent nearly an hour in that guest bedroom talking about drama and random things so they could get to know each other better. They actually had a lot in common.
"You guys okay?" Doyoung asked as he poked his head into the room. Quieting down, the two looked over with grins on their face from the previous conversation they were having.
"Yeah we're good," Jungwoo replied.
The elder nodded. "Me and John are gonna smoke, you're good with that, Ten?"
Jungwoo raised an eyebrow when he saw the small boy throw Doyoung a simple thumbs up. "Do you not smoke?"
The smaller boy's nose scrunched up, "I tried it once, it's not for me. What about you?"
"No. But Doyoung invited me over to smoke...? I don't know," Jungwoo mumbled, picking at the floral comforter on the bed.
A laugh slipped out of Ten, "You don't have to, Doyoung won't care."
Letting out an exaggerated sigh, Jungwoo slapped a hand over his heart, "Thank god...I really didn't want to." His eyes wandered around the dull gray room, it had no personality whatsoever which was a bit strange. It kinda reminded Jungwoo of himself. "My uncle told me all queer people are pedophiles...but I think that's an absolutely stupid thing for somebody to say," Jungwoo blurted out randomly.
Ten's lips pressed together, "Well I'm glad you don't think I'm a pedophile." A smile spread across his face when he saw how worried Jungwoo looked, "I'm messing with you, I'm glad you gave me a chance and got the chance to formed your own opinion."
