A smile spread across the elders face, "Yeah, yeah, get on," Doyoung said as he handed the boy the helmet and gestured to the motorcycle.

When Doyoung pulled into Jungwoo's driveway, the younger's  whole nervous system felt like it was collapsing. Jiwon's car was parked right behind his mothers.

After he almost jumped off the motorcycle before it had even stopped, Doyoung looked at Jungwoo like he was insane, "In a hurry?"

Shakily pulling the helmet off, he nodded, "M—My girlfriends here."

"And why is that a bad thing," Doyoung questioned, his face remaining stolid as usual.

A small sigh fell from the younger's lips, "Well I've kinda been avoiding her and have been hanging out with you and Ten a lot—she think I'm cheating on her and I'm not...I'm just not acting like the best boyfriend lately."

Doyoung flashed a reassuring smile, "Hey, relationships are hard, not everything is going to be perfect all the time." He climbed back onto the motorcycle, starting it back up. "I'll go so I don't make things worse," He said over the engine.

Jungwoo nodded reluctantly before waving to the boy as he pulled out of the driveway. Squeezing his eyes shut, he took a deep breath, trying to mentally prepare for what was to come. He walked up to the door and reached out for the doorknob, his hand stopped moving, "What are you doing Jungwoo?" He whispered to himself. His girlfriend was just on the other side of the door, yet he wanted to run back to the school and wait for Ten in the art room. "You're supposed to love her." If anybody was watching the boy, they would probably think he was demented from the argument he was having with himself.

Rolling his eyes at his own foolishness, he quickly opened the door and walked inside. His mother and Jiwon were sitting on the couch together, talking about something that looked pretty serious.

Mrs. Kim looked up and gave her son what could've been interpreted as a look of pure disappointment. "Sweety...where were you, it's late."

Jungwoo glanced down at Jiwon, who had an upset expression on her face. "I was with a friend, sorry I didn't call, it was last minute."

"See I told you! He's lying to us—he wasn't with a friend it's p—probably some whore!" The girl screeched, a mixture of tears and mascara running down her cheeks. She was a mess, her blond hair thrown in a tangled bun on the top of her head and old clothes that weren't even close to matching.

"I'm not cheating on you!"

The two on the couch looked up, a bit shocked at how angry Jungwoo looked. His mother got up and gently put an arm around his shoulder. "Sweety, whats going on? Why're so upset about this?"

"Because I'm not cheating—a...and she keeps saying that I am and id never do that." The boy said quieter this time, trying to not start crying himself.

"What've you been doing with these friends? You're never out this late," She asked sweetly.

Jungwoo let out an exasperated sigh, what was he doing? He couldn't say he was hanging out with a gay boy and somebody he'd just met a week ago because they were more interesting than his girlfriend. "I—Im doing drugs..." What the hell Jungwoo!?

The woman's eyes widened, "O—Oh? What kind of drugs? Is it bad?"

He shook his head, "Just weed..."

Upon hearing that, Jiwon practically jumped off the couch, "You let me think you were cheating on me because you're smoking pot!?  Literally everybody smokes dumbass!" Before he could even get another word out she had left his house, slamming the front door behind her.

"I don't know how you put up with that attitude..." Mrs. Kim muttered as she straightened the pillows Jiwon messed up before she left.

"I don't either," Jungwoo muttered.

His mother looked up at him, a critical expression on her face, "You never tell me about her anymore...do you even like her anymore?"

"I don't know, mom. There just isn't that spark anymore. It kinda feels like a chore to be her boyfriend sometimes."

Pulling her son into her arms, Mrs. Kim said, "Jungwoo, my baby, you don't have to keep this relationship going just for her. You should be happy too, and lying about your feelings isn't good for either of you." She placed a hand on the side of his face and smiled up at him, "Not everything works out how you want it to, you can't control your feelings."

"I—I've never broken up with somebody before...how would I even start that?" Jungwoo asked frantically, feeling himself begin to panic.

"You just tell her the truth," His mom said softly. "It's inevitable that she's going to be upset, but you can't keep this going honey."

He nodded slowly, "I just...I don't want to hurt her."

"I know, Jungwoo. But it'll only hurt her more if you keep pretending to be in love with her," His mother said quietly as she continued to tidy up the living room.

"Mom...how did you know you were in love with dad?"

She tensed up slightly at the mention of her late husband, but quickly replaced the distress with a smile. "Oh your father...I knew I was in love with him the first time I saw him. I had tripped over my own skirt, and a boy rushed over to help me, when I looked up he was the most handsome person I've ever seen—" She cut herself off, waving a hand above her head, "Not that it's about looks, not at all. We were friends for a really long time before he finally asked me on a date. He was just...so perfect. So perfect in every way. When you're in love you'll know."

Jungwoo felt himself smile as he remembered the time he got to see how in love his parents really were. They were so in love, even up until the last minute they shared together. "You'll find the right person, honey," She reassured softly.
