She opened her eyes. She was staring through a window and saw a mother cradling her baby before placing them in the cradle the woman said something to the baby but Emma could not hear. she was not in control of this body. she climbed in through the window picked up the baby and left. There was a song playing in the room she recognised it it was the same song her Grandmother would sing to her

It might be dark outside

in this world full of darkness

but it was different as then end it was meant to be 'safe in my arms tonight' and by the end of the lullaby, the woman sounded like she was crying this broke Emma's heart and all she wanted to do was give her a hug.
