Chapter 40

Godt smiled watching Krist sleep beside him. Yesterday they had their first fight. He saw his jealous side for the first time. He got jealous every time Krist and Singto would be together but this was the first time that he fought with Godt for being with Bas. He was glad that Krist came to him. He didn't like being away from him nor did he like it when Krist would get upset. He looked down and he could Krist's protruding stomach. He's now 2 month's pregnant. He loved them both and now wanted to marry Krist soon.

He kissed his stomach and was about to kiss his lips when Krist groaned. He immediately became worried and asked,"What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

Krist groaned again and opened his eyes. "My back and lower body."

Godt turned him to the side and tried massaging his back and thighs. He called the reception and asked for a doctor.

"I have called for the doctor. Someone will come soon. Try to bear it alittle." He said, trying to calm him

"Can you call mae?" Krist asked

Godt nodded and called Susan.
"Mae, Krist is having back pain. What should I do? I called for a doctor."

"It must be because he travelled in a car for a long time. Try to massage him and ask for a hot water pack. That will lessen the pain. Don't give him any painkillers. Let me ask Dr. Yan first." Susan said

"Ok, mae. I will do that. I will call Dr.Yan and ask him. Thank you." Godt said

"When are you coming back? Did you forget we have planned your engagement party this weekend?" Susan asked

"I didn't forget,mae. We will be back by tonight, I hope. But if Krist doesn't feel good then maybe tomorrow." He explained. He didn't want to trouble Krist. They can go back tomorrow, he will talk to P'Pen.

"Just call Dr.Yan and do as he says. Call me after speaking to him. Take care of him." Susan said

"I will, mae. Don't worry. I will take care of him." Godt said and cut the call.

He looked at Krist who looked in pain.
"Krist, is it hurting too much?"

"Yes...it is. Godt...please. Do something." Krist groaned in pain. He was now clutching his stomach.

Godt was too scared now. He didn't know what to do. He called Dr. Yan. He kept holding Krist and assuring that everything will be fine.

Dr. Yan answered the call and asked,"Godt, good morning."

"Dr. Yan, Krist is having too much pain. He said that his back and lower body was hurting but now he is clutching his stomach too. What should I do? He is in so much pain." Godt ranted

"Calm down. Bring him immediately to the hospital. I am clearing my schedule now." Dr. Yan said and Godt could hear him screaming order's

"We are out, at the beach. It will take us 3-4 hour's to reach you. I am leaving right now " Godt said.

"What?? I had told you before that Krist can't travel for so long. Why didn't you ask me before leaving?" Dr. Yan scolded

"I...I didn't know. He just came over to meet me. Please help me. Do something." Godt said.

"Ok. Just calm down. Leave right now. Lay him on the back seat. Don't drive too harsh. I am keeping everything ready on my side. Just bring him safely. Don't worry. He will be fine." Yan tried to assure him. He didn't want him to drive too rashly. He can't risk that too.

"Godt, did you hear me? Bring him safely to me. After that I will do whatever it takes to help him. Ok. You understood?" Yan asked

Godt took a deep breath. Dr. Yan was right. He has to be calm. He looked at Krist who was in pain and was now crying. He rushed over to him and held him close
