Chapter 45

Godt was exhausted. He had a tiring day. He was now at his rehearsal set. He was sitting on his seat with his head down, trying to sleep. Everyone noticed but no one went to ask him. Pen saw him and went to sit beside him.

"Are you sick? Why are you so tired? Didn't you sleep?" She asked worried

Godt groaned. "I am too tired. Exhausted. Please can't you just cancel some of my work. Postpone them."

Pen smacked his shoulders. "I had told you before but you didn't listen. I told you not to take on Krist's work too but you refused. Now you have no choice."

"I can't let Krist work in this condition. He is stressed too, you know. Let me atleast sleep for sometime." He said slowly

Pen smiled. "Krist is so lucky to have you. Sleep for sometime. I think they are going on a break. Would you like some iced coffee?"

Godt nodded. Pen sighed and left. Bas looked at Godt sleeping alone. He looked around and then went beside him. He wanted to touch him but he knew that if he woke up, he won't allow him to even sit there. He secretly took some pics of Godt sleeping. He smiled looking at him

When Pen arrived back, she looked surprised. She kept the coffee and some snacks on the table. She gestured Bas to follow her. When Bas nodded, she led him outside.

"Just leave him alone. You know he won't like it if he saw you sitting so close." Pen told him

"I wasn't doing anything. I just sat beside him. We are friends. I can sit there. Don't worry I won't do anything wrong." Bas said

Pen sighed and said,"Please just don't complicate things. As it is, Godt is too much stressed. He doesn't want any more distraction."

"But why is he so tired? Why isn't Krist taking better care of him? Also I have come to know that all of Krist's projects have been taken over by Godt. Why? If Krist can't fulfill his own work commitments, why is he forcing Godt to do all this?" Bas asked angrily.

Pen glared at him and said,"It's none of your business. If Godt wants to complete Krist's work, then why are you upset about it? It's their personal life. Stay away."

"What if I tell the media about this?" Bas smirked

Pen froze. She glared at him and said,"Don't dare. You don't know anything. I am warning you. STAY AWAY!!!"

Bas laughed and went away. Pen sighed. She wasn't sure if Bas really meant it or was just fooling. But whatever, she had to be careful. Now that Godt is so close to completing all his works and taking a vacation, she couldn't allow any news to float around.

When she went inside, Godt was awake and sipping coffee. He smiled at her and said,"Thank you so much for this."

Pen smiled and sat beside him. Godt noticed that she was thinking of something.

"What are you thinking? Anything wrong?" He asked

"I was talking to Bas and he said that he knows everything about Krist's work's taken by you. He warned me that he will leak everything to the media." She said

"How dare he!!! I will talk to him." Godt said and stood up to search for Bas

He saw him talking to Kimmon and went there. Kimmon smiled at him and was about to hug him but Godt glared at him

"Just stay away from me and Krist. What I do in my personal and professional life, is none of your business. I am warning you if you ever leaked anything to the media, I will sue you in court. Understood?" Godt warned

Kimmon looked at him confused. He looked at Godt and then at Bas
"What is he saying, Bas? Did you do anything?"

Bas glared back at Godt and turned to Kimmon.
