"Are you ok?" Singto asked worried
Godt just nodded and laid his head on the table. They had a meeting with Chan for the series.
"Krist couldn't sleep the whole night. So I stayed awake too." Godt replied
"Is he ok?" Singto asked
"He is behaving weird. He is afraid of facing the outside world. Some months back, he was so confident but now. He doesn't even want to see the mirror." Godt said
"It's the hormones. Once his delivery is done, I am sure he will be back to normal." Singto replied
"Chan had called him some time back and made him agree to act in his new series. He was so happy. But now he is not sure if he can act again." Godt said
"Who is with him now?" Singto asked
"Mae is with him. Knot had called sometime back and he said that he was heading there."
"Hmm. That's good. Knot will make him feel better. Have you talked to Dr Yan? When will he schedule the operation?"
"In 15 days. I have spoken to him and he has arranged everything. There will be complete secrecy. I have spoken to Pen and I will be taking a leave from this weekend." Godt replied
"That's nice. I will come today to meet him. Let's have dinner together." Singto said
Godt nodded and closed his eyes. He wanted to rest for awhile. Singto didn't talk and started playing a game. Chan and his team were late for an hour. Singto didn't mind as it was a relief for both of them. When he saw Chan coming in, he woke Godt. Godt straightened in his seat.
"I am so sorry to keep you waiting. I had too much to discuss." Chan said and sat down
"No problem. Let's start. I have to go for a photoshoot." Singto said
Chan nodded. "Well, as Bas has left we had earlier discussed to change the lead and start again. But now I have decided to postpone it."
"Postpone it? But why?" Godt asked
"I have decided. I want Krist to play the lead like before. And he want's a break of few month's, so I have decided to wait for him." Chan said
Just then Mark, the producer, came in. He sat down and said,"Sorry, but we can't delay this series. We have already spent alot on this and by delaying it more, means more loss. I am not going to approve this break."
Chan glared at him and said,"I have already decided that I am taking a break. Also regarding the loss, I can compensate if you want."
Mark shook his head.
"Why can't we start again with Godt and Singto as the lead? They will look good too."
"But I want Krist to work with Godt." Chan said
"Krist hasn't acted nor performed anything for the past 8 month's. I don't think he is going to act again. And he doesn't even need to. Then why should we wait for him? If he is not ready, then just change him. Why should we suffer for him?" Mark said
"You can't decide for my series. It's my work and I will decide who will be the main actor. I want Krist and that's final." Chan glared
Godt and Singto looked at them, confused. Singto signalled Godt to say something to stop them from fighting but Godt shrugged. He didn't know what to say.
"If he is still injured, then how long will it take for him to recover fully? Have you asked him this?" Mark asked
"I have spoken to him and he said that he will be ready in six month's." Chan replied
