The next morning, Singto woke up to an empty bed. He groaned and stretched his arms. He opened his eyes to look for Knot but he saw that the room was empty. He got up and freshened up. After changing his clothes, he walked out to search for him.
He saw Knot sitting alone at the beach. He looked sad. Singto felt bad and walked over to him.
"Hey Knot....let's go for breakfast..."
"How could you say all that to Krist?? Did you forget how much he struggled during those month's? How could you say that he made a mistake?" Knot yelled at him, getting up
Singto looked down. He knew that Knot would fight with him.
"I know and I also have seen how much he had worked hard to make his career. How he loved being in front of the camera. He gave it up after pregnancy. I just...I think that he shouldn't have done that. That's all..."
"You also think that like him, I will also give up my career if I adopted a child. Isn't that right?" Knot asked
"I am afraid of that. What if you gave up too just like him?" Singto said
"Why is that such a big deal? Even if I did stop my work and stayed at home, do you think I would regret? Or that I won't be able to take proper care? What exactly do you mean?" Knot asked
"It was ok for Krist as he has Godt. He is rich enough to provide everything they want. But we are not that rich. You have your gym and I have my acting career. But what if it's not enough? I don't want to struggle with child now." Singto said
Knot laughed.
"I can't believe it....really. You think that I cannot afford to have a child. How can you be so stingy? I never thought that money was that important to you. More important than me."
"That's not what I meant. Just listen to me...please .." Singto said and tried to hold him but Knot glared at him
"Don't. Don't try to come close to me. Just leave me alone. Just go..." Knot said and turned away.
"Please don't do this...let's talk about this. Why are you making this so hard?" Singto tried again but Knot walked away.
Knot was furious. He thought that Singto just wasn't ready mentally to have a child but he didn't know that the main reason was money. He sat in the restaurant where he was supposed to meet Krist. When Krist came, he was shocked to see him so angry. He sat beside him and asked,.
"What's wrong? Did he say something again?" Krist asked
"You won't believe what he said." Knot replied and told him everything. Krist was shocked beyond words.
"What's wrong with him? How could he say that?" Krist said
Godt came there and when asked, they told him too. Godt listened to them and nodded. He was calm and just looked at them.
"Aren't you angry?" Krist asked
"For what?" Godt asked
Knot looked at him and asked,"About what Singto said?"
"I was upset but not anymore. He is right by the way." He said
"What?? Are you seriously backing him on this?" Krist yelled
"He isn't completely wrong. Even I feel that Krist shouldn't have stopped working but it was his choice so I had to agree. I still want him to start again." Godt said
"I know but it wasn't a mistake that Krist needs to regret. Why should he?" Knot said
"Maybe he felt that way. We can't control Singto's thought. He thinks different than us. He is more practical than emotional." Godt replied
