unpopular opinion: if the only thing you're telling a person who needs help that you're in their prayers, and the only way you offer to help them is by praying for them, please fuck off
if you want to pray for someone to help support them, that's fine, but you have to be doing more than that. praying does not being definite change. praying does not always help the person.
