you know, i've always been very confused as to why girls are so scared to cut their hair.

very, very confused.

my best friend wanted to but her hair a while ago, but she was terrified to. and i was so, so confused as to why.

she kept saying "but what if i regret it?"

and my response was always, "it's hair. it grows back. and even if you hate it it's temporary. you learn to never do it again. and then it's fine."

i've found this isn't just a fear in her, it's in all girls. all girls are afraid to get their hair cut more than an inch. and if they do, it's a life changing experience.

i'll be the first to say that haircuts can be life changing. my hair cut in seventh grade was life changing. my hair cut last year was life changing.

but those hair cuts were drastic. one was from mid-back length hair to a pixie. the other was from shoulder length hair to an actual buzz cut.

but girls my grade will get 4 inches cut off from back length hair and say that they feel different. and i'm not trying to shit on their vibe, but like take a risk! get a bob! get a pixie! get a fucking buzz cut! live a little!!
