when i was watching supernatural season 2,

(roughly a year ago)

i would have to have my lights on while i watched it, and i couldn't watch it later than 10 pm because it would scare me too much. i also wouldn't wear headphones and i had to look away whenever someone got killed.

now i'm watching supernatural season 10,

and i'm watching it with my headphones full blast at 3 am while it's completely pitch black in my room and i don't even flinch when someone dies.

i call that character development.
