Escape from Mustafar

Ahsoka let a single tear fall from her eyes as she gazed upon her old master, Rex slowly backed away from the new sith lord his wife securely hidden behind him as he did. 

Anakin on the other hand glared at Rex, 

"commander Rex, why are you hiding my padawan learner?" Anakin's voice was full of calm but Rex could feel the anger coming off him in waves making him tighten his grip on Ahsoka.  

Rex only glanced behind him before he navigated his way out of the corridor and into a hanger bay, Anakin growled at them before using the force to pull them towards him. 

Rex yelled as Ahsoka was pulled from his grasp. 

They floated in the air, side by side as their body remained immobile. 

"you run from the truth Rex, you run from what you were born to do" Anakin started as he walked closer to them "you're strong with the force and have knowledge of the republic troops, join me". 

Rex breathed as best he could before he glared back at his General. "Never" 

Anakin laughed. 

His laugh caused Rex's blood to freeze in his veins as he watched out of the corner of his eye as Anakin moved to Ahsoka activating his saber. 

Rex struggled against the generals control as he realized how close the saber was getting to Ahsoka's face. 

"I've seen you at your dark side before little one, you can have your family live without fear of what others might do to you, your children would be trained like mine will to become the strongest sith in the galaxy" Anakin said. 

Ahsoka struggled before she did something that shocked both Rex and Anakin. 

She spat in Anakins face. 

The room was quiet as Rex silently prayed Anakin would not do anything to hurt her, Ashoka however breathed heavily as she fought against Anakin. 

"GO.....TO........HELL......" Ahsoka half yelled through clenched teeth as her body erupted in pain. 

Anakin sighed before he threw them against the wall. 

Rex felt Ahsoka land on top of him, her body still as if she was sleeping, he looked up carefully before catching sight of a very blury image of General Skywalker. 

He could somewhat hear what the general said, but he had prayed he was wrong. 

"Looks like we are going to have to do this the hard way" 

Then Rex passed out.
