Lil bit her lip painfully before Etain pulled her to the end of the corridor rather forcefully.
"We have to find a way out of this place" Etain muttered as she pulled Lil across the threshold of the corridor door.
Then the surroundings changed almost instantly.
The surroundings of the ship had vanished to be replaced by what looked to be old temple walls that had been hit with some kind of combat fire.
"ok..." Etain mumbled as she slowed down slightly with Lil in tow.
After a couple of minutes of walking down the old temple corridor, both Etain and Lil began to feel a strange cold feeling washing over them.
they froze midstep, recognizing the feeling almost immediately and from there they took a guess of where they were.
They were in an ancient sith temple.
"Is this place real?" Lil asked as she covered her arms slightly trying to worm her body up from the now freezing feeling spreading through her body.
"No way it's real" Etain muttered as wisps of red shimmering smoke drifted by cackling as it did.
"Is it like the ship then?" Lil asked just before they turned a corner.
The moment they turned the corner Etain gulped and pulled Lil behind her quickly before realizing what the giant room before them was and where they were.
Right in front of their eyes were ghostly formes, all most of which were in groups talking amongst themselves. Etain looked back at Lil who had peeked over the fellow Jedi's shoulder to get a better look at the sight before them, her voice was Shakey as she spoke but Etain still managed to whisper "This is no temple".
Lil's eyes widened before they heard voices coming from behind them. Both Jedi's heads nearly snapped as they took a look to see if there was someone else in the corridor with them.
Instead, their eyes were met with another set of ghost-like figures, two humans this time. One was much older with white hair and bright green fancy robes while the other was much younger with bright red robes of a student at one of the academies on Naboo.
"Master, won't the Jeti suspect I am a sith apprentice?" The young boy said his cadence sounding eerily familiar to Etain.
"No my young apprentice, the Jeti are far too engrossed in their battle with the sith to even think of a senator let alone his son are sith," the older man said before ruffling the young boy's hair.
"All you must do is keep your head down and hide in plain sight" the father continued before he fixed his robes so they looked less ruffled "That includes staying away from the queen's adopted tail head niece, though it is beneficial for me at work don't get too attached to the child.....the queen will soon be out of power and the child will hopefully be sold into slavery far from here".
The boy looked terrified by this idea before he grabbed his father's sleeve "wouldn't it be better if we simply purchased her when the time comes, I will need a servant who understands the complexity of government matters when it comes time for me to take my place"
The father looked down at his child with slight pity before he asked "you are forming attachments to the....child?".
The son shook his head with disgust "no father, I only wish to become the best, and this is the best way to do that".
His father smiled evilly at the boy "then consider it done my boy...after all, you are a Palin".
Lil and Etain looked at each other confused before they followed the figures, who seemed to not even know they existed, more into the room.
