Naboo Visit

Cody was waiting in a comfy chair as he watched Barris wander through the countless bookshelfs. 

She had felt much better when they woke up that morning and after their visit to the prominent doctor for a countless set of tests Cody figured some familiar environment would be welcomed. 

Barris occasionally smiled as she read from the books making Cody grin like a fool when she did. 

It wasn't long before she made her way back over to him with a stack of books in her hands. She wore a simple creame and tan dress that was modest but still outlined her figure well making Cody blush slightly as she approached before she placed the books on the table next to the chair. 

"You look happy" Cody mused as she stretched slightly, careful of her chest. 

Barris hummed happily just before Cody pulled her to him so she was sitting on his lap, curled up against him. Barris cuddled against him as he handed her one of the books from the top of the pile before kissing her nose. 

"how do you feel?" Cody whispered as she looked up at him happily. 

"very very very happy" she muttered before kissing his lips for a second. 

"good......" Cody muttered as he looked into her eyes, thoroughly bewitched by them. 

Barris blushed before Cody kissed her gently, his hands pulling her closer to his body as she ran her hand through his hair causing Cody to deepen the kiss. 

It was a while before Barris pulled away gently causing Cody to rest his forehead against hers, his heart beating loudly in his ears as he tried to catch his breath. 

Barris on the other hand pulled one of his hands free from her waist and began to play with his fingers. Cody smiled at her sweetly as she tucked her head under his chin and opening the book in her free hand. 

Cody rubbed her shoulder gently as she read, he liked how calm being with her was. There was no droids, no uniform, no shooting and no orders......unless they came from Satine or Barris. 

Her nose twitched slightly as she read, something he noticed she did when she did not understand something. 

Cody kissed her forehead before closing his eyes, enjoying the calm of the library as well as the soft skin of his girl as she read in his arms. They spent hours there, cuddled together in the comfy chair as Barris read and Cody napped occasionally rubbing her skin gently making sure her mussled would not get sore. 

"Cody" Barris muttered as his hand rubbed her calf gently in small circles. 

"mmm" Cody mumbled his eyes still closed from his nap. 

"I want to go home" Barris muttered as she closed her book careful not to hit him as she put the last book on the table next to the chair. 

Cody kissed her temple his eyes still closed before he opened his eyes still bleary eyed.

He took in her slightly ruffled dress from his hands rubbing her legs, but either way she was still beautiful as ever. 

"Satine said she wont be back till after shes done talking with the head of security, so we could just sit around watching the holo channels, or grab some food" Barris muttered as she played with his hair. 

Cody perked up at the mention of the word food, "naboo street food?........That sounds perfect," 

Barris laughed as he picked her up and paid for a couple of books before leaving. 

She insisted he let her down once they where outside, so as a compromise he wrapped his arm around her waist while his free hand held the bag with the books she had purchased.
