Sneak

Damali and Lil held their breath as a small group of droids matched past their hiding spot. 

Lil had the blaster in her hand ready to defend them if one of the droids in front of them spot her as Damali hid slightly behind her. 

They had spent the last five moving from hiding spot to hiding spot in hopes that it would hinder the droid's ability to narrow down where they were. 

Damali's natural-born abilities had come in handy as they were able to find more hiding spots, which Lil became continuously grateful for every time they heard the marching for droids. 

"They are going to find us eventually" Damali whispered, her voice full of defeat as she sunk to the floor, wrapping her arms around her as she did. 

"no, they are not, Hey listen" Lil dropped down next to her and put an arm around Damali's shoulders, "We are going to get out of here, we will find a way. Even if we have to blow apart half this base to do it". 

Damali sniffled slightly before she spoke again "I wish we had the clones here,". 

Lil smiled slightly thinking of Kix before she spoke again "They are probably on their way, and when they do get here they need our help to take down this base or they will be shot out of the sky....literally".

"Do...Do you think that they will though?" Damali asked her mind firmly set on one clone in particular. 

"Yep......and I am guessing you are hoping for one clone in particular.....right?" Lil asked making Damali blush. "Your emotions are pretty powerful, you managed to crush those droids before with your emotions. I'm not telling you to stop showing emotion, but you need to remain in control especially now.". 

Damali nodded "I'm trying, I've been trying to control my emotions, I just get so scared" 

"Well, you are already half a Jedi now, even more than before I think" Damali looked at Lill extremely confused before Lil explained, "The basic part of being a Jedi is letting go of fear, but that doesn't mean you forget about it, you accept it but you don't let it hold you back."

"That sounds like the sith" Damali whispered extremely confused. 

"Yes it does my dear," said a cold voice from in front of their hiding spot. 

Both of their heads snapped in the direction of the voice as the figure stepped closer to them so they could see them easier. 

Count Dooku.

"Come along children...we don't have much time to get you out" 

They were dumbstruck, to say the least. 

"Wh-what?" Lil asked extremely confused before Dooku rolled his eyes "Get up before I am spotted with you two".

Damali shook violently as she began to get to her feet with the help of Lil. They were both now extremely scared, believing that they were caught. 

"oh calm down...... you're worse than Kenobi when I first caught him with the Dutchess of Mandalore" Dooku hissed as he glided away from them. 

Lil and Damali gave each other a slight look of worry before Dooku hissed at them "Hurry up or I will leave you to be found by the empty-headed droids". 

Upon hearing this Lil pulled a shaking Damali to her feet while Dooku resumed his walking. 

Damali on the other hand eyed the man in front of them untrusting. 

"You two will need to keep up" Dooku stated yet again before he stopped dead in his tracks. Almost causing the two girls behind him to crash into him.

Dooku, unaware of the near mishap, simply pulled a lever of some kind off the smooth wall and with a slight hissing sound a secret passageway opened just to their left.

"Get in and take this, you two will need to be well hidden for what's about to happen." Dooku hissed as he held out a communicator to them.

Lil, being the slightly more braver of the two, took it. Albeit with shaking hands.

Dooku nodded to the passage before he spoke again "You are to stay there until you hear from the senator Amadala. So no noise, no talking and no use of the force. No matter what happens".

Lil and Damali glanced at each other, still unsure if the count could be trusted, before quickly scrambling into the hidden passageway.

Dooku nodded approvingly before he shut the door behind them. Then just as quickly as he had turned up he turned down the corridor towards the communications center of the base.

His plan being salvaged from the brink of ruin by the two Jedi getting lost. He needed them to stay out of the way while also being probable causes for what was to happen.

And sure enough not moments before he arrived at the communications center there was a loud bang, and even though it sounded slightly muffled it was definitely a crippling blow of some kind as sirens and alarms began to come bouncing back to life.

Dooku smiled slightly to himself before he used the force to open the locked communications center.

"Sir, what are you doing in here?" One of the command droids asked confused.

Dooku didn't respond.

He didn't need to.

For his actions spoke for him.

And with a simple flick of his hand his saber came roaring to life causing a errie red glow to cover most of his face as he bearded down on the now terrified twenty or so droids in the room.
