Dooku said nothing as both Satine and Shaak Ti glaired him down.
he sat shackled to not only the table in front of him but to the floor and to the walls behind and beside him.
"Comfortable?" Satine asked her face not breaking its icy front.
Dooku on the other hand just glared daggers at Shaak-Ti.
"you have grown older little slave girl," Dooku said before straightening his sleeve slightly.
Shaak ti didn't blink at his clear insult, she only smiled slightly as Satine threw something grey onto the table.
It clanked slightly as it bounced off the table before coming to land inches from the count's hand.
It was a small piece of shrapnel from a ship, in fact, it was a piece of his ship.
"You're not going anywhere for a while, this is all that's left of your ship. Your master must have had a self-destruct button in there if you were ever captured. He abandoned you. " Satine said smiling at the now horrified count.
Shaak ti smirked slightly before Satine continued "Where is the sith headquarters".
Dooku rolled his eyes at the duchess who continued "Kenobi told me the story of why you left the order all those years ago, tell me why would you join an order that is going the same way?".
Dooku looked at Satine with a slightly irritated look before he spoke: "The sith have a future, the Jedi order is barely skin and bone, all it would take is a small fire to take them down. The dark side is the only part of the force that will win".
Shaak ti crossed her arms slightly reminded of the time when he kidnapped her before she butted in "So in your mind, the force is only accessible to those select few, even among force wielders? Qui never believed that he always believed in the good of the force, he believed in the good in you. even after you abandoned the Jedi and took me."
"I am nothing but dark, my old student was nothing more than a dreamer and you are nothing more than a gullible pet he kept" Dooku hissed before continuing "It was the way of the Jedi that killed him".
Shaak ti grabbed him by the collar and pulled him towards her roughly, her fangs now on full display. "HE WAS KILLED BY YOUR APPRENTICE..... THE SAME ONE WHO ALMOST KILLED AHSOKA".
Dooku sneered at her, her fangs not having even the smallest impact on him, "he died because he was living the life you did, he only died to impress you. and what do I care if some Togrutan child was almost killed by my past apprentice".
"Ahsoka...is both Qui's and my daughter......and my husband died to protect an innocent child and woman from being killed. The same child who is now Darth Vader. The sith killed Qui, not me. Not anyone else. " Shaak Ti hissed.
Dooku's eyes widened at the bomb Shaak Ti had just dropped on him.
"That's.......impossible, humans and subhumans cannot breed"
"Ahsoka Tano is living proof that it's possible, she and my grandchildren. The Jedi order is changing, the sith on the other hand are still the same archaic fools they have always been"
Dooku was reeling at the new information as well as the realization of something "that's what my master wanted her for isn't it......not just for breeding the new generation of sith."
Satine and Shaak ti looked at each other before Satine asked her next question "Is that what they want my daughter for? Where is she?".
Dooku was still slightly shell-shocked but he did manage to respond. "She is not powerful enough to be considered for that role, my master only wants her for both the information she holds and for the role she plays in the Mandalorian government."
Satine looked slightly relieved for a moment before Dooku continued "my master sent me here to procure Vaders wife and children........if I do not return with them your daughter will be killed".
"What why? why would he need Padme and the twins?" Satine asked as Shaak Ti let go of his collar.
"Vader is.....shifting........constantly. He does not fully belong to the dark side yet. My master cannot control him unless he has the motivation to do the bidding Darth Sidious commands. My job was to either take them or kill them" Dooku was almost whispering as he spoke, his eyes now firmly fixed on the table. Satine and Shaak Ti looked at each other in pure horror before Satine turned back to Dooku.
"What kind of information is that bastard trying to get from my daughter?"
Dooku looked at Shaak Ti "How did you keep this hidden from the other members of the council?".
Satine looked a little annoyed before Shaak ti took some pity on him, "some helped hide her, Plo and Master Yoda mainly. But we agreed when she was born that it was too dangerous for anyone at the temple to know her parentage."
"because of the radicals like Windu and Luminara" Dooku deduced as he stared at the table in front of him.
"What kind of information does your master want with my baby?" Satine asked again.
This broke the Count's daze, as he looked at the two women with a newfound fire in his eyes.
"let me go and let me take the people I came to collect and not only will I tell you but I will help you" Dooku stated his body straitening up with confidence as he did.
"How could you possibly help us? And what does the sith want with my daughter?" Satine almost yelled now, her eyes now filling with that fiery spirit she was well known for.
Dooku smiled slightly before he finally spoke.
"I would be your spy on the Sith......"
Satine and Shaak Ti once again gave each other the same look, one of disbelief and distrust towards the sith in front of them.
Shaak Ti was the one who spoke first after the long pause "If you wish to be our spy, then tell us. What do they want with the young Mandalorian Duchess?"
Dooku thought for a moment before he finally made up his mind.
"They want the location of the planet Mortis"
