Is Earned

Cody glanced back at Barris's form as Volt dragged her to the entrance of the small cavern, her chest moved gently making him breathe a little easier as his mind went back to setting up the explosives on the ceiling of the cave. 

Volt on the other hand was having a harder time getting the sleeping Jedi out of the cavern. He noticed the scrapes on her face and exposed skin from when he pulled her into the cavern in the first place. Barris was shifting as well, her body trying to avoid his touch as he fought both the rocks and the squirming Jedi. 

"captain.......I could use a little help here" Volt whispered as he tried again to move Barris through the hole. 

Cody glanced at Volt and Barris smiling slightly as he finished setting up the charge he was working on. "She might be coming around" Volt whispered as she shifted again causing her body to brush up against the walls of the cavern, cutting it and letting her blood smear on the walls. 

Cody jumped down both quietly and gently before he made his way over to her, his eyes taking in the scratches and fresh wound. He gently wrapped a piece of fabric around her open wound on her arm before lifting her out of a very thankful Volts arms. 

Barris immediately curled into Cody making him smile and Volt rolled his eyes. 

"Trust a Jedi to be able to know the difference between clones now of all times" he muttered half-joking as Cody glared at him pulling her slightly closer. "the explosives are almost all set up.......you think you could make sure she gets out of the caverns and far enough away from the explosion?" Cody whispered as Barris cuddled into his armor. 

Volt rolled his eyes at the couple's actions "that might be harder than you think if she keeps fighting me like before". Cody looked down at her sleeping form before an idea popped into his head, he began to take off his armor careful to avoid hurting the sleeping Barris. 

"what are you doing?" Volt whispered slightly worried that he had truly gone insane. 

Cody smiled at him before he tossed his armor to the side "Take off your armor, it is too bulky to go through the small passage, that and it's uncomfortable". 

"Oh, no........no way........I've seen what a female Jedi can do to a clone" Volt whispered his mind going back to Rex's body that was covered with bruises, scratches, and bites. Cody looked at him confused before it clicked his face redlining as he tried not to yell at the clone, "rex is married to a Togruta, they are known to be........rough........with their mates, she is out cold and not a Togrutan so the likely hood of her biting you only comes if you try anything to her......that is if you think I won't kill you before you get the chance". 

Volt held up his hands in surrender as Cody glared at him, "whoa No way am I doing that.........promise she won't bite me?" Volt asked again slightly worried. 

"she won't bite....now get her out of here" Cody whispered as dust fell from the cavern walls. 

Volt quickly took off the majority of his bulky armor and picked up Barris again, "don't take anything else off.....understood vod?" Cody said in a low warning tone that scared Volt slightly as he handed over Barris. 

Volt gulped and nodded before he began to slip out the small passage, Cody took a deep breath and glanced at his armor that lay slightly forgotten on the floor, hoping that his idea would work before he was blown sky-high. 

He managed to finish setting up the explosives before he heard the loud beeping sound again, his whole body froze, leaving him standing in the middle of the cavern. 

he glanced up at the whole unsure if the droid had figured out he was there when he noticed it was revving up. 

he looked at it confused again for a moment before it clicked.
