Ahsoka shivered slightly as the medic droid placed the cold bacta on her wounds. Rex was standing next to her with a very scared Lithara in his arms, she had refused to leave her parents side since the incident that morning.

Ahsoka on the other hand was glad to still be able to hold one of her children close as Aniko and Tiberius where not quite as shaken up but still had to go with their grandmother who was now teaching a class.

"This burn was any farther to the left and you would not be here master Jedi" the droid spoke in it's usual cold tone which did not make Rex or Lithara feel any better. Ahsoka just nodded before motioning for Rex to hand her her daughter.

Lithara automatically nuzzled into her mother's shoulder before Ahsoka felt Rex gingerly hug her.

Rex's overprotective nature had made it hard for him to let his son's out of his sight, but after he heard the whimpers of both his wife and daughter he caved. He calmed down slightly when he heard his wife's gentle purring before he finally spoke.

"The younglings will have to check the whole ship........Wolfe is probably going to go insane.......but until we find out who is doing the spying we need to put all hands on deck" he mumbled.

Ahsoka on the other hand glared at him "I'm singed not helpless...I can help the clones tra-"

"No!" Rex growled out causing both Ahsoka and Lithara to jump a little.

"Just....stay here.....stay safe....." Rex mumbled before kissing her temple and hugging her tightly. Ahsoka blushed before returning the hug as Lithara tugged on her father's shirt.

Rex pulled away slightly before kissing his daughters forehead gently, Ahsoka nuzzled against his chest understanding why he was so protective at that moment.

He was just as shaken up as they where.

Rex closed his eyes as he tried his best to calm down, his mind on the other hand kept going back to the moment he could only classify as one of the most terrifying parts of his life.

"Rex...... breath" Ahsoka whispered trying to pull him from the more darker parts of his mind as the med door opened to reveal Shaak Ti and two energy filled toddlers who crashed into Rex's legs before Rex pulled them up to the med bed.

"What did you do? Give them a pound of auger each?" Ahsoka asked half shocked before her mother laughed slightly.

"Not exactly......but they did enjoy some chocolate contraband.......you can thank Fives for the fallout" Shaak Ti said before being pulled into a hushed conversation with the med droid.

Rex on the other hand was still trying to get a handle on his two hyperactive sons who where more interested in trying to climb into his shoulders than calming down any time soon.

"Tiberius behave ...... Aniko don't push your brother" Rex scolded slightly as Ahsoka cuddled her daughter grinning at him. "They are your son's dear" she giggled making Rex blush before He responded "yea they get their feral side from you though".

Ahsoka raised a marking at him "I thought you liked feral?"

"What's feral?" Lithara asked looking at her father confused.

"That's what your mother is" Rex muttered forgetting just how good his wife's hearing was.

"You'll find out when your all older" Ahsoka said as she shot Rex a glare that terrified him slightly.

"I'm going to pay for that latter arnt I?" He asked slightly worried before she nodded slowly as his children giggled.

"Great" he muttered before Shaak Ti walked back over to them her expression was a mix of shock and concern.

"Ahsoka, your on bed rest for the next eight months" Shaak Ti said as rubbed her temple.

"WHAT!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER !!! HE SAID SHE WAS FINE!!!!" Rex yelled his embarrassment forgotten as he turned to destroy the med droid but was pulled back by an annoyed Ahsoka.

Rex kissed her forehead before muttering a small apologies to his children who where still wriggling about.

"It seems as though you are going to be parents......again" Shaak Ti said as she folded her arms at the two of them.

"W...what" Ahsoka muttered as Tiberius was looking to his parents to his Grandmother confused.

Rex on the other hand tightened his grip on his wife.

"Two children this time....twins........I'm both proud and worried though.....which is why I'm asking you to stay with us until you give birth ....Padme will no doubt be glad for the additional help-"

"Wait what about Rex?" Ahsoka asked her hand gripped the front of his shirt tightly before Rex kissed her forehead trying to calm her down now already guessing what was going to happen next.

"Master Plo has agreed to train your husband as you will not be able to spar with him anymore....but we will still be on this ship until the foreseeable future thanks to the separatists army and their lovely new toy......" Shaak Ti muttered the last bit before continueing " Wolfe is finishing up the checks on the ship Incase there where any other traps or listening devices.....Fives and Hardcase are running the investigation but the odds are not good."

Rex noted the slight worry in her tone before Ahsoka cut in "I could help maybe there is a-"

"No!" Rex and Shaak Ti said at the same time before Fives came barreling into the room.

"We.....found.........a.........clue" he panted his hands on his knees before being run over by three small bodies.

"Rex! Ahsoka! Master Ti!! Help!!!"

Rex chuckled slightly before he walked forward to try and help his brother from his hyper children trying to hug the life out of him .

The group was so focused on the funny scene before them that none of them noticed something vitally important.

Just above them in one of the air vents was a small red blinking light.

Recording everything.
