Rex held his sleeping daughter in his arms as he gently picked up Aniko who was halfway to sleep already. Rex had spent the day with his children and the younglings on the island while his wife helped Padme take care of the twins, now he was walking his children back to their hut with Tiberius taking the lead. 

Rex enjoyed playing with his children but his body felt strangely heavy, if it wasn't for the desire to hear his children laughing he might have just laid down in the field and passed out. 

"Home!" Tiberius said proudly as Rex grinned at his son, "Good boy, go tell your mother we are home ok?" Rex said as Tiberius waited for his father a little down the path. 

Rex held back the small laugh as his son began to run down the path to his mother, they had grown in his absence and it killed him a little. 

All three of his children's lekus had formed a little and their markings seemed to get more and more present. His sons had grown into the clothes that the dutchess had given them when they were born, deep blue robes that stood out in the green grass. his daughter on the other hand had on a Togruta style dress, this he knew to be Ahsoka's old dress she wore when she came to the temple. 

Rex was thankful to Shaak TI for taking care of his children, but he still wished he could be there more. 

"MOOOMMMYYYYYY!!!!!" Tiberius yelled running into the hut to hug her, Rex couldn't help the laugh that formed in his chest as his son yelled at the top of his lungs waking up half the younglings there including his brother and sister along with making his mother jump like a cat. 

"Tiberius, why would you scare your mother like that" Asoka said as she picked up her son who looked sad. "Daddy told me too" Tiberius answered cuddling into his mother's shoulder. 

Ahsoka glared at Rex before kissing her son's forehead. Rex laughed nervously as his wife gave him the slight cold shoulder, his daughter on the other hand yawned and cuddled into her father more muttering something incoherently. 

Ahsoka smiled at her children in Rex's arms, she enjoyed spending time with her family as a family, but she was slightly worried when she could not feel Rex's presence in the force. 

"come on you three, time to get you ready for bed," Ahsoka said pulling a set of blankets off one of the shelves in the hut. 

it was a decent size hut with three beds and one large makeshift bed next to them. Though for the first two nights the kids had spent the nights sleeping with them, Rex didn't mind and neither did Ahsoka, it was the perfect treatment for the torcher they went through. 

It didn't take long to get the triplets ready for bed, other than the triplets insisting on sleeping in the big makeshift bed. 

"Mommy and daddy come to bed!" said Aniko his face scrunched up in the cutest frown Rex had ever seen. 

Ahsoka laughed a little at her son before kissing his head "I'm sorry honey but mommy and daddy need to go for a check-up before going to bed". 

Aniko shook his head and hugged his mother's leku a little too tight "no......stay". 

Rex jumped to his feet but was waved off by a smiling Ahsoka who rubbed his small montails gently as he clung to his mother "why do you want us to stay?" asked Rex slightly nervous. 

Aniko whimpered slightly before Tiberius and Lithara cuddled up to their brother, "when your here the nightmares go away" said a voice behind them. Rex looked at a slightly shaken Shaak Ti, her robes were slightly dirty but not from a fight.....unless it was a small child. 

"most of the Younglings are having the same dreams, it's not getting any better" Shaak Ti supplied as her granddaughter got out of bed to hug her father.
