Etain followed behind Lil as best as she could, her body was already beginning to show considerable strain from the prolonged exposure to the sith temple. or at least from the energy radiating off of it.

Lil on the other hand just ran faster her heart thundering in her ears as she followed the sounds of Kix's screams.

Just as she turned the corner into a room she was almost thrown headlong off of what looked to be a balcony on a place she was intimately familiar with. It was the palace on Mandalore.

"What the....." Lil stated her eyes searching the city for any sign that something was off.

"Lil!" Etain yelled as she turned the same corner and almost ran into Lil before grabbing the balcony railing to stop herself from going over the edge as well.

"Lil, we need to get out of here," Etain said grabbing Lil's upper arm trying to pull her back to the corridor.

"NO, KIX IS IN HERE TOO.......I can't let him suffer" Lil whispered the last part before ripping Etains hand off her arm.

"Now help me find him" Lil demanded making Etain take a step back out of shock. it took a moment for her to recover before she finally nodded.

"ok, but we will have to be fast. this place is not just a trap it's a leach and it's been sucking not only my energy but the two of you as well." Etain spoke softly as she met Lil's determined glair.

"He is in pain, and he's being torchered because of me" Lil whispered, scratch that, almost growled at Etain who had to take a slight step back before Lil continued "You can escape if you want when it becomes too much but I am not leaving without him".

Etain looked at Lil with slight worry before another blood-curdling scream ripped through the air causing both of them to forget the conversation and look back to the passageway from the sith temple.

the only problem being was that it was no longer there.

"Yeah.... that's not a bad sign" Etain muttered under her breath just moments before Lil began to run towards the source of the screams.

Etain was about to follow when she felt something akin to a cold wave wash over her, she froze for a second before she heard the scream again. But this time it sounded off, almost as if it was being replicated. 

Etain shook her head before she began to run after Lil. 

By the time she caught up with her, she walked in on a truly terrifying sight. 

Before her stood not one but two Lil's, one perfectly healthy and full of life. the other was almost ghost-like as her form drifted off the ground by at least a foot, and Etain could see almost perfectly through her. 

Then Etain caught sight of what the ghost version of Lil was doing. 

Four or five feet in front of the ghost Lil was struggling and bound Kix kneeling on the floor, the ropes that seemed to hold him were moving almost like snakes as they tightened and slowly wrapped their way around his neck. Inching closer and closer to his face 

Etain rushed forward ready to step in when she was knocked backward onto her but by a seemingly invisible wall. 

"What the hell" Etain muttered as she pulled herself to her feet and held out her hand to try and feel what had stopped her. 

Her hand caused ripples to appear almost as if she was looking at a strange pool of water, retain quickly turned her attention back to the sight before her. 

"Lil!! Lil, can you hear me?" Etain yelled. 

Lil's head snapped back to Etain her voice slightly cracking as she spoke "What do I do?".
