Bruises

Damali was securely cradled in Hunter's arms as he glared at Heavy. 

Heavy on the other hand was standing with his arms crossed and he looked livid. 

They had moved from the mess hall and to the gym rather quickly. Leaving a muttering and Grumbling 501st to clean up the mess.

"Rex he is all over my girl!!" Heavy yelled

Rex blinked completely confused, his mind thinking that Heavy was just being his usual foul-tempered self. 

"bull shit. Rex, he saw us and immediately lashed out" Hunter yelled his arms tightening around Damali who shrunk into Hunter's arms when Heavy began to yell. 

Heavy looked slightly hurt before getting mad at Hunter again. 

"You reject freak" Heavy seethed. 

Rex shook his head still trying to figure out what was going on. 

"Rex?".

Rex spun around to see his wife leaning against one of the sparing bags, happy that she was here to help with this confusing matter and slightly annoyed she didn't listen to his order to get some rest. 

"Ahsoka? You sure you should be up right now?" Heavy asked worried for his sister-in-law. 

Rex resisted the urge to snap at Heavy before he walked over to Ahsoka who smiled at Heavy before welcoming Rex's embrace. 

"I'm fine Heavy.... though these misfits in me are making it dam hard to lay down.... seems they only behave for their daddy" Ahsoka replied making Rex grin slightly as he felt her stomach. The twins had only recently started to kick and move around in her womb making it near impossible for either of them to sleep. 

Ahsoka nuzzled into her husband making him blush before Heavy coughed uncomfortably. 

Rex shifted slightly so Ahsoka was half-hidden in his arms but resting comfortably. 

Heavy shifted from foot to foot slightly uncomfortable before he shifted his gaze to Hunter and the scared Miraluka in his arms. 

"Get.Your.Hands.Off.Her!" Heavy hissed his anger. 

Hunter glared at him before looking down at Damali who looked terrified as she hid her face into his chest. 

"you're scaring her" Hunter hissed back. 

Heavy gripped his arms tightly, his anger slowly getting the better of him before he did something no one was expecting. 

He stormed out of the gym. 

Well more like stomped out before they heard a couple of crashes from the hallway and yelling. 

Moments later Fives came into the Gym looking like he had been in a fight with a cleaning machine that doused him in blue cleaning fluid. 

"he is so not in a good mood......" Fives said rather dramatically trying to get the cleaning fluid off. 

Ahsoka couldn't help the small giggle before her senses were overwhelmed by the smell of him. 

Rex looked down to see his wife slightly nauseous before he chuckled "ok now we got to get you to bed". He smiled as Ahsoka nodded weakly and gripped onto him tighter as they gave Fives a wide birth. 

Hunter smiled slightly at the couple before his attention was brought back to the trembling Damali her face still hiding in his chest. 

"Hey, you ok Damali?" Fives asked slightly nervous to get any closer to them not knowing much about Damali's species and remembering Rex's primal protectiveness of Ahsoka. 

Hunter ignored Fives before he gently rubbed her back remembering the last time he experienced something like this. He was a cadet on Kamino and was trying to comfort one of his brothers after a brutal training op. 

"Hey, I'm right here ok....." Hunter whispered his mouth next to her ear so only she could hear. 

He tightened his hold on her gently before something strange happened, something that made it difficult to understand what was going on. 

His surroundings began to change continually in such a manner that it all became a blur,  planets and ships and people all talking or yelling overwhelmed his senses before he felt something solid on his back. 

he blinked a couple of times and let one of his arms feel what he had run into. 

It was the floor. 

he had fallen to the floor, and after he looked around he saw a very confused Fives. 

"What the...." Fives groaned as he tried and failed to get off the floor, probably the combination of the cleaner and his balance being thrown but Hunter knew what had truly taken him down. 

He looked down and saw the scared woman in his arms, he had fallen backward so she was securely wrapped in his arms still. though judging from her limp form she had passed out from the little show she had given him and Fives. 

Hunter smiled and gently tucked a stray hair from her face, he leaned into a sitting position before he bent down to whisper "get some sleep Cyare.....". 

Her body curled up against his as he stroked her hair gently. 

Then Fives came back into the room with a look on his face that scared him. 

"Vod.....your gonna wanna see this" Fives said before motioning to the door. 

Hunter looked confused before he managed to get to his feet, Damarli securely held in his arms in a bridal carry, then walked over to where Fives stood slightly wary. 

Once there he almost dropped Damali with what he saw. 

All of his brothers that had been in the hallways and the rooms were on the floor or trying to pull themselves up by the wall or other hard surfaces. 

"She didn't just hit us Vod" Fives muttered. 

"No....she took down a lot more than us" Hunter whispered in awe as he looked down at the dangerous, but docile, woman in his arms.
