Last-ditch Attempt

Dooku glanced at a very pissed-off Padme who sat at the back of the cockpit, She had changed from her senate attire and now wore something that reminded him of sith robes. though he could not tell if it was the robes or the feelings she was broadcasting not only through the force but through her glairs towards him as well. 

"If your stupid plan gets my husband, my babies, or even me killed I swear I'm gonna...." Padme grumbled so darkly under her breath that Dooku had to take a moment to remind himself she was not his (soon to be) former master. 

"My plan is only going to work if you calm down my dear" Dooku stated as calmly as he could before continuing "My master needs to believe you are joining our side, and in order, to do that, we had to bring you and your children. Vader... I mean Skywalker should be emotional enough to ensure you three don't fall into Sidiu's clutches". 

Padme wanted to strangle the Sith because of his arrogant tone, she already had to part with her children for an hour or so while the medical droid looked them over. Now she had to play nicely not only with him but with the bastard that not only tricked her but also played all of her friends including poor Jar Jar. 

"You will have your children soon my dear. Just stay calm" Dooku repeated yet again as he worked on the ship's controls. 

Padme had to hold her tongue as she crossed her arms and closed her eyes, trying her very best to meditate as Anakin showed her after they got married on Naboo. 

Dooku sighed with slight relief before he caught sight of the planet they were headed to, Kamino. "We will be there soon, you need to place the bracelet on before we break orbit," Padme grumbled under her breath in hutiess, words she must have picked up by being around Anakin so much Dooku deduced as he heard the settle click of the bracelets. 

"What about my children?" Padme asked concerned, Dooku nodded before he pressed a button on the coms "Med droid four what is the status on the children?".

"Check up complete, the children are in perfect health and have had the force cuffs applied per your orders" the droids robotic response replied as Padme sat up straiter trying to hear a bit better from the back. 

"Good, bring the children to the Cockpit and report to me" Dooku replied curtly before shutting the Communications down. 

Padme looked at the sith curiously but before she could even think of asking him why he wanted the droid to report when the droid casually rolled in and delivered her children. Padme smiled happily as Luke and Leia giggled and gurgled happily up at their mother before cuddling close to their mother. 

"Reporting as you re-" The droid was cut off by Dooku's next actions, he quickly pulled the droid's memory unit out and crushed it under his boot before he returned to the controls. 

"Why exactly did you shut the droid down?" Padme asked as she looked at the now lolling droid. The ship they had narrowed was one from Naboo, but it had been stolen from curosaunt and then recovered (By chance) by Master Plo. 

"The droid had too much information, and if they searched the ship then they would have found out that I'm now working for the New Republic" Dooku stated as they began their descent to the surface of the planet. 

Luke began to giggle as he saw the bright lights of the fire that licked the ship's outer hull, he held a hand as if to grab it before Leia gurgled loudly at him in an authoritative manner. Padme laughed slightly at her bossy daughter before crying slightly at the unknown lights. 

"Is there no way to keep them quiet woman?" Dooku grumbled as he tried to control their descent, his skills had been slightly diminished over the years as he had tended to let the droids fly the ship. Padme glaired at the grey-haired sith before returning her attention to her children who were gurgling at each other playfully. 

By the time the ship had broken through the atmosphere, Dooku was more than a little annoyed at the two infants. 

"Where are we going? I thought the Kaminoans were on the republic's side?" Padme asked as Dooku sent the ship into the Kaminoan waters. "Dooku where are we going?" Padme asked again, anger now beaming through her voice like a hammer. 

"When the Clone facility was abandoned the separatist friendly Kaminoans began operations to turn the facility into an underwater base. This proved to be a perfect outpost for genetic experiments as well as a perfect location to eavesdrop on the New Republic" Dooku explained as he nodded towards the now parting waters. 

Padme looked in horror as the building became clearer through the slightly murky water. 

It was huge, much bigger than the cloning facility that Padme had seen before, and it was built into an underwater volcano that was slightly spewing lava. Aquatic droids patrolled around the building as well as ran drills, though that was not the most terrifying thing. 

That honor belonged to the massive army of Karkarodens, their uniforms where black and red with the sepratist logo on all of them as they swam in formation. 

Luke  was the first of the twins to catch sight of the Karkarodens as the ship few by them, his eyes went wide for a moment before he began to wail and scream as he tried to wriggle away from the window and towards his sister. Leia, to Padme's surprise, began to scream angrilly at the window and using the force sent the squad flying in the water. 

Dooku rolled his eyes at the childrens actions before pulling the ship into the base's hanger. 

Luke still cried as they entered the ringed hanger causing Dooku to turn around and glair at the child after he set the ship to auto pilot. 

"Scilence!!!"

Luke hastily quieted down before cuddling to his mother and sister. Padme glaired at the Count who shrugged. 

"Worked on other jedi younglings" 

"Yea i bet they just loved that...." Padme mumbled under her breath. 

"I was the most beloved teacher i will have you know" Dooku argued. 

Padme scoffed slightly before returning her attention to her children again. 

Dooku fumed slightly at her as he slowly docked the ship, "Curb your attitude young senator, my master is not one for spirit". 

Padme glaired at the Count before nodding with understanding, "So long as i can get my family out of this war alive I will play this game, just understand your role in this as well Sith". 

Dooku nodded respectfully before getting up towards the port of the ship, Padme Looked down at her children one more time before she got up and prepared herself for what she had to do next.
