Shaak-ti smiled down lovingly at her grandson as he slept in his mother's arms. Rex was out cold with one arm wrapped firmly around Ahsoka's waist as she slept on the bed, his other arm held his son who was drooling onto his chest as he slept.

Shaak-ti cradled her granddaughter who had began to naw on her montails as her fangs began to grow in. "Now now little one, that's not good for you" Shaak-ti whispered as she pulled the little white, tan and blue montail out of the toddlers mouth. Her granddaughter on the other hand pouted before grabbing Shaak-ti's left montail and tugging slightly.

"You are just a little trouble maker arnt you" the grandmother whispered half laughing as she looked for the teething ring she had brought with her.

Shaak-ti had just gotten the teething ring in the toddlers mouth when a loud crash sounded out side the door causing her granddaughter to jump out of fear and yip slightly like an animal.

"REX! AHSOKA!" came Fives familiar cadence seconds later as he almost tripped over himself scrambling into the room, Rex who had woken up from his daughters yips automatically pulled a blaster from the nightstand and aimed it at Fives who had now face planted onto the floor from tripping over a toy near the door.

Rex held his son to his chest protectively as he aims at the now humiliated Fives before he blinked confused. Ahsoka on the other hand was still out cold though once Rex moved she rolled slightly so she was curled up a little, not a care in the world as she and Tiberius slept soundly.

"Fives........this had better be good" Rex grumbled and Aniko fussed a little in his sleep as he snored against his father's chest. Fives on the other hand groaned before pulling himself up to his feet before he met the gaze of a very pissed off and sleep deprived Rex.

"We captured Count Dooku"

The room went eerily quite for a moment as not only Rex but Shaak-ti was frozen with shock.

Shaak-ti was the first one to break the silence, her face shifting back to her professional Jedi master side in a matter of seconds. "Where is he?"

Both Rex and Fives flinched at the coldness of her voice before Shaak-ti gently kissed her granddaughters forehead and handed her to Rex, then addressed Fives again "where is he?".

Fives and Rex exchanged glances before Rex spoke up, "Shaak-ti maybe we should contact master Yoda?".

Shaak-ti glanced at Rex with a steel like glair and for a second Rex could have sworn he saw a flash of sharp fangs before she turned back to face Fives.

Fives gulped slightly afraid before he spoke.

"He's in holding room five".

Rex didn't have time to open his mouth before Shaak-ti was out of the room and down the corridor, her hands clenched tightly as her memories from her child in the temple began replaying in her head.

First when she went to get her crystal.

Then when she was in class and almost fried Dooku's beard off.

Memories of petty pranks and jokes between Plo, Qui and her before the last memory flashed in her head.

This one was when she and Qui where on Mandalor. The civil war was at its height, and Dooku was finding the mercenaries who had tried to take over.

She rubbed a small scar on her arm from the saber mark of the Sith from that event. He had gotten very close to killing her that time. If Qui had not pulled her away that time.

She shuddered as her hand touched her stomach, if Dooku had succeeded that day not only would Ahsoka not have been born, but the three adorable grandchildren that had come to be.

Shaak-ti's hand shook for a moment as she finally realized just where she was.

Right outside holding room five. Right outside the room where the monster of so many of her nightmares sat tied and ,she silently hoped, gagged.

"General" one of the two guards asked as Shaak-ti glaired daggers at the door, "is everything alright?" The other asked looking to his brother slightly worried.

"I would like to speak with the prisoner" Shaak-ti stated her tone as calm as ever.

The clones on the other hand glanced at each other before the one on the right spoke first.

"I'm sorry General but-"

"Let her pass Niner" a new voice said behind Shaak-ti.

Shaak-ti didn't need to turn around to recognize the tone of the retired Mandalorian Duchess.

Satine on the other hand walked past the troopers, who stood back at attention again, and opened the door to the cell.

Shaak-ti didn't even spare a glance towards Satine who gave a small smile as they walked into the holding room side by side.
