Kix glared at Unilin as he held Lil around the waist, he had spent the last three days watching Unilin pretending to be her fiance, and he was pretty fed up with the idea. They were currently in a room full of diplomats and high-profile people, with Unilin playing host. 

Kix now stood as a bodyguard for the 'happy couple', trying his best not to rip Unilin to shreds as he showed off Lil. She wore a dark green dress that seemed to make her look like a queen, with the dress's curves that made it hard for him to focus on anything around him. 

Her saber was hidden skillfully in one of the ruffles of her dress, and the only thing stopping Kix from ripping Unilin to shreds when he kept pushing it with the PDA, was the silver-looking bracelet that encompasses most of her arm from her elbow to her wrist. His engagement gift to her, Basker steel armor Unilin had given to him as one of two gifts as an apology for breaking his blaster.

It was engraved with simple curls and geometric icons from Mandalore history, he had it made to fit her thanks to a little help from Venia, the half-sister he had met when he first landed.

Kix was shaken out of his thoughts as he noticed another shine in the crowd. his eyes caught sight of it again, not quite making out what it was, on first glance it looked to be some sort of cylinder. 

he was just about to step forward and investigate when he was brought out of his thoughts by Unilin who was slightly drunk, Kix resisted the urge to laugh at the broomstick's attempt to show bravado with the liqure. 

"Thank you but my bride-to-be and I need to get some rest before our trip to the capitol tomorrow," Unilin said his voice betraying him slightly as he started to walk to the exit with Lil and Kix on his tail. 

It wasn't until they were in the transport ship away from prying eyes that Lil yawned and rested against Kix "that......was super annoying" Unilin said as he rubbed his eyes trying to keep himself awake. 

"I think you need a shower Cyare," Kix said as he kissed the top of a sleepy Lil's head, Lil smirked knowing her fiance's jealousy was showing itself again. her hand gently rubbed his chest calming him down slightly as he hugged her closer to himself as his scenes were plunged into her calming presence. 

Unilin coughed uncomfortably before he spoke, "We don't have to meet at the palace for the Galla until late tonight, so um........".

Kix grinned at Lil before she giggled, "sounds like we get to sleep in after our little information gathering" she muttered before kissing his lips gently. 

"Just don't break any more of my furniture anymore, please................ it's getting kinda annoying to find reasons to replace them" Unilin said as he pulled out a datapad looking over paperwork for some deals he had made. 

Kix traced Lil's armor gently his mind falling to her scent of flowers and peppermint as she slowly fell asleep against his chest, "this coming from the man who has tripped over the exact same vase over and over again for the past three nights.........you should probably lay off the alcohol man" Kix said as he puffed out his chest slightly. 

Unilin huffed annoyed "least I look like I belong in the crowd of over the hill lushes" 

Kix opened his mouth for a retort when Lil jabbed him in the ribs with her finger and kicked Unilin with the spikey end of her heel. 

"behave.......the both of you" she grumbled half awake half asleep. 

Kix and Unilin blushed madly before muttering apologies to each other Lil brightened for a moment before her head fell back onto Kix's chest and was out like a light. 

Unilin looked up slightly confused when he heard snoring coming from their direction, "dude.....how do you sleep with that? I could always hear her snoring in the boy's dormitory".
