The Rising

Ahch part two

Rex's eyes slowly opened after his long sleep, it took him a minute to realize just where he was. he felt a slight purr from his chest before he looked down, he smiled at Ahsoka's sleeping form wrapped in at least three different blankets. 

her skin looked a little bit more refreshed than the night before though most of her neck was covered in love bites. he smiled to himself when she began to mumble in her sleep, his free hand gently stroked her leku and montail in one fluid motion causing a purr to come from his wife. 

His mind wandered to his children, how he missed them and thanks to that infection he could no longer feel them through the force. he rested his head against his wife's forehead morning the loss of that feeling, it had been weird and strange at first but it soon became a huge comfort to him when he was away with his family or when he was in the heat of battle. 

Rex closed his eyes trying to find anything or anyone in the force. the only thing he felt was a soft hand cup his cheek gently. 

he opened his eyes slightly worried he might have woken his wife only to find her still asleep, 

"I'm right here" she mumbled quietly before Rex blushed red and kissed his wife gently on the lips. 

"Rex, Ahsoka!" Padme called from the cockpit. 

Ahsoka stired slightly before Rex kissed her nose and gently untangled himself from the sheets and tucking his wife back in before creeping into the cockpit. 

"She is sleeping" Rex said quietly before Padme nodded. 

"We will be landing in ten minutes, help me with these two they are still asleep and i dont want them to wake up until we land" Padme answered before motioning him to come closer. 

"where are we landing?" asked Rex slightly confused. 

"Ahch, i remembered Master Yoda talking about it once before a meeting Anakin shouldn't beable to find us.......i hope" she finished as though she was praying. 

"Have you checked in with General Shaak Ti? are my children ok?" Rex asked his voice portraying his worry. 

Padme smiled "They are fine, though Shaak Ti is dealing with thirty jedi younglings with tewntyfive more on the way, but the triplets are acting strange since a couple of days ago" 

"why whats wrong?" asked Rex confused. 

"They started crying a lot and they wouldn't let go of Shaak TI" Padme answered her attention still focused on her own children. 

"Rex, go get Ahsoka ready, we will be landing soon. dont worry I'm sure everything is fine" Padme answered. 

Rex did as he was ordered and walked quietly back into the med bay. he spotted his wife sleeping soundly entrenched in dreams that made her grin in her sleep. 

He quietly tiptoed to her before kissing her exposed shoulder "Ahsoka?" he whispered gently. 

Ahsoka wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close to her, Rex only laughed slightly and kissed her exposed throat before he was met with a low growl. 

"Ahsoka time to get up" Rex whispered again before kissing her collar bone. 

"no" she muttered biting his ear with her fangs, drawing a little blood when she did.

Rex was used to this though he was thank full he was being bitten by his wife not one of their three children. 

He laughed slightly before kissing her deeply, Ahsoka responded happily before pushing him away slightly "that's a cruel trick". 

Rex laughed before pecking her lips gently, "but its very useful in getting you to get up" he whispered gently. 

Ahsoka finally opened her eyes and glaired at him before pushing him away. "Fine" she said softly before getting out of bed and walking to where her clothes were. now clean and neatly folded. 

halfway to her clothes she dropped her blanket giving Rex a perfect view of her behind. Rex smiled at his wife before wolf whistling and getting off his feet. 

"Need any help Cayre?" Rex asked half hopeful half worried. 

Ahsoka blushed before she felt Rexs familiar hands rubbing her back gently avoiding her healing wounds. 

"yes please" she whispered slightly embared before Rex smiled and kissed her nose and helped his wife get dressed.

It wasn't until they landed that Ahsoka felt a familiar brush in the force. 

Rex looked at her concerned before she darted to the hanger door "AHSOKA!!" he half yelled mindful of Padme's twins before getting up and following her. 

They had landed outside a small village on a island, it was primative but looked homey enough with children playing in the fields near the village. 

"AHSOKA!!!" Rex yelled before following his wife who was running towards a small group of younglings. 

that's when he saw them, all three of his children playing with the group of younglings, he stopped for a second his mind not quite believing his eyes before he started running again picking up his pace. 

it wasn't long before he had his family wrapped up in his arms Ahsoka slightly crying kissing her children as they climbed all over their parents. 

Rex was no better his eyes where portraying his happiness as his daughter giggled and put her small hands around his neck hugging him. 

"i see you two have finally made it to the new jedi school" came the familiar tone of Shaak Ti her voice full of hapyness as she watched her children and grandchildren. 

"Im glad we where able to make it" came the familiar tone of Padme as she cradeled her twins, Shaak ti smiled at her friend "i see this is the little Luke and Leia you where telling me all about". 

Luke seemed to giggle from his mothers arms before reaching out instinctively for Shaak Ti as leia started to fuss. 

"I think they like you" Padme noted as Shaak Ti smiled as she walked closer "they can feel the force strongly here, every jedi that has ever come here has always felt at home" Shaak Ti explained as she let Leia grab her finger. 

"only a day or so old and they are considered Jedi" Padme bermused smiling at her children. 

"its ok, it will be quite a while before they under go any training" Shaak Ti answered before looking back at her own family. 

"this place is a safe port for jedi right now" Shaak ti said softly slightly before looking up at the sky "Lets just hope it stays that way" Padme answered.
