Rex yawned as he stretched out, careful to avoid the four sleeping figures next to him.
His children had arrived late the night before, but Ahsoka had still managed to push herself to play with them completely ignoring the medic who mumbled something about hazardous Jedi before continueing on with his work.

Rex noted that as his children slept their nose twitched every few seconds, something he had only seen on Ahsoka before.

Ahsoka was just as asleep as their children, but her expression was that of calm and peace, as he gently traced the marking on her cheek. Her sleeping face was so compelling for him to stay, this made getting out of bed especially hard for Rex.

The warm cocoon they had created was cozy and soft, enticing him to sleep longer. As his wife's purring could be heard as she cuddled a little more into the pillow that held his scent.

But someone had to get up and deal with the now extremely pissed off Wolfe.

Rex noted that it was not so much the children he hated, just the mess they left behind.

Rex smiled slightly remembering how peaceful they slept as he walked into the command center.

Then stopped.

Mainly out of shock and surprise.

All over the command center where younglings messing with the wires and controls.......

And not a clone in sight.

"What the!!!!" Rex had to hold back from swearing before he caught sight of Fives and Heavy helping them by lifting a heavy console cover up.

"Commander.....I can explain....." Fives started.

"Oh this will be good" came Echos reply as he entered the room behind Rex with Wolfe in tow.

Rex on the other hand was still dumbstruck as he looked on at the working younglings.

"Seems as though we have a spy on board .....he placed listening devices all over the ship........we only know because well....." Fives started.

"He blew up a console as a joke....." Hardcase cut him off as he wiped the soot off his face.

"It wasn't supposed to blow up........just fritzed out a little" Fives said his face turning red slowly.

"Riiiiiight......fritzed out......and exploded IN MY FACE!!!" Hardcase yelled slightly glaring at Fives.

"The younglings are the only ones who can tell where the bugs are....." Fives continued as he winced slightly.

Rex on the other hand was still looking at the soot covered Hardcase and the younglings.

"Wanna help Vod?" Wolfe asked as a child hugged his leg making him flinch and try to pry the cold off of him.

"You....found listening devices......so you get children to help you disable them?" Rex asked slowly trying to comprehend just was going on when a loud crash sounded next to him making him jump slightly before he heard his wife's voice coming through the comms.

"Rex.....you need to get here.......NOW!!!"

Rex looked at his brothers with an apologetic look "sorry boys....wife is calling"

They glared at him slightly before he booked it down the hall and back to his room.

The moment he did he understood why she called him back. The whole of the room was fritzing out as his wife cuddled their children close to her trying to protect them from the arks of electricity that occasionally glanced past them.

This time Rex swore loudly as he looked on at the scene.

"Wolfe! Fives!!! Get your asses over here now!!!!!" Rex yelled into his coms before he looked back at Ahsoka.

"I don't understand what happened Rex, one minute we where getting ready for going to the mess hall next the coms exploded and electricity is flying everywhere!!" Ahsoka yelled as another ark came dangerously close to her shoulder.

Rex jumped forward before getting hit with electricity in the leg.

He cried out slightly before he dodged the next couple of arks and jumped the final four feet to Ahsoka and his children.

His arms automatically pulled them close to him helping cocoon their young from the electricity.

"What the hell where you thinking!!!" Ahsoka yelled at him her eyes full of anger at him as he nervously laughed.

"Mommy said a bad word" Aniko muttered as he clung to his mother's arm terrified. Tiberius was holding both his siblings trying to not show his fear but even Rex could see it written all over his face before the door opened to reveal Wolf, Fives and Master Plo.

"Rex! Ahsoka! What happened!" Fives yelled over the loud sounds of electricity.

"They bugged the room Fives" Rex yelled back before being hit in the shoulder making him clench his teeth to hold in the painful yell that almost escaped him.

"Shit" Wolf muttered before Plo spoke. "Rex you need to make a it over here!".

"No kidding....I mean no kidding sir but we are kind of trapped" Rex yelled back.

Ahsoka yelped loudly as her left montale was hit making her buckle slightly and Rex grip tightened on her arms.

"Just give me a minute to cut off the power" Fives yelled from somewhere down the corridor.

Rex kissed his wife's temple before he felt Lithara yelp in fear and her brothers pull her to the center of the cocoon.

"Fives move faster!" Rex yelled as he pulled Ahsoka away from an ark that narrowly missed her face.

"I'm trying....it's like someone re arranged all the wires in here......." Fives yelled before Wolfe vanished from the doorway to help Fives.

"Hey it's gonna be ok" Rex whispered to his children who had begun to hyperventilate and whimper.

Ahsoka glanced at the door before looking back to her children.

"Ok.....I think....yea we got it" Wolfe yelled just as there was a loud Pop and the arks died almost instantly.

Plo automatically ran into the room before he started to check them over.

"What the hell happened!" Wolfe asked as he reappeared with a slightly smoking Fives.

Rex on the other hand was trying his best to control his temper.

"Someone either bugged our room....or was trying to kill my wife and children" Rex's voice came out a slight animalistic growl causing the males to step back as Ahsoka and the triplets shivered slightly afraid.

Rex kissed Ahsoka's cheek before pulling her and the triplets into a tight hug trying to calm down.

"Search the ship...there could be more surprises like this on board...." Master Plo said before continueing "looks like we have a turncoat on board"
