Witch which

Cody glanced at Barris as she tried to meditate as best she could in the mess they were in.

It had been hours since the sun went down, and they could hear the cracking of branches in the tree line of monsters they could not see.

Cody was the first to speak as he glanced at Ventress, "what exactly is on this planet!".

"Just us!" Spoke an eerie voice as a different type of dog began to roll in. It was black and menacing, but that's not what caught their attention the most. That honor belonged solely to the grey and purple figures moving around in the thick fog.

Ventress smirked slightly before she spoke.

"That.....would be the Night Sisters"

Cody and Barris glanced at each other as best they could with their bodies encased and clearly terrified before Ventress spoke again. 

"Don't say a word, especially your clone" 

Cody grit his teeth holding back a brilliant insult he had for her when he felt something wash over him. 

It was like someone was tucking him into a large and warm bed after a long day of work. His mind felt as though someone had turned his whole body to cotton, his eyes drooped slightly before he felt nothing but black. 

It only felt moments later when his eyes snapped open and were immediately blinded. 

His head pounded slightly before his eyes adjusted to the room, it was filled with green fires that made the shadows dance on the rock walls. 

He could just make out of the form of Barris, her body language told him she was just as groggy as he was, though her body was crumpled and strangely curled. It took him a second more to realize that the reason why was because she was being held back with a glowing purple rope that throbbed every so often as she slept on with the strange substance covering her mouth. 

He opened his mouth to yell for her when he realized something. 

He was gagged too. 

"sister.......why should we not kill these for intruding upon our land?" A raspy voice asked. 

"They helped me stay alive......its the least i can do" Ventriss replied, Cody glanced over to where he could hear the snarky voice of Ventriss. 

He spotted her immediately, she spoke to another one of her species who had a hood and mask covering most of her face.

Just as Cody was about to yell, allbe it through the gag, another woman entered the room. 

She was far more grand than Ventriss or the other nightsisters, with heavy looking red robes that seemed to flow in a wind that did not exist she seemed to float effortlessly over. But her face was the only indication that she was older. 

Or rather the look mixed with the natural skull like markings that gave her the air of someone who has seen and done many things for many years.

"Mother Talzin" Ventriss spoke smiling politely.

"Child...it is good to have you come home......but why do you bring.....them?" Mother Talzin asked before she continued  addressing Cody. 

"Evesdropping is rather rude would you not agree.....Captain?" 

Cody shivered before he glanced back to Barris then did his best to get to his own two feet getting in front of Barris form. 

Mother Talzin smiled slightly before she waved her hand. 

Almost immediately the bindings on both Barris and himself disappeared, Cody was slightly shocked for a moment before he quickly recovered and turned back to Mother Talzin. 

She simply smiled at him. 

"Our sister may vouch for you.....for now.......but I have no intention of letting you harm my clan"

Cody couldn't help the slight shiver  that rand down his spine before she turned back to Ventrisss, "Our previous arrangement with the sith will not be renewed child......" 

"Im not here for Count Dooku....he tried to kill me.....and i want him dead" Ventriss hissed. 

"we can help you with that....but first we must deal with a more pressing issue. it seems as though one of Darth Sidious's new toys in coming here..."

"who?" asked the night sister next to Ventriss. 

"Darth Srorn...." Mother Talzin replied looking only towards Ventriss

Ventriss looked afraid at the mention of the name before she went what could only Cody describe as going pale. 

"He is using the monsters we helped to create against us!!!!" The Night sister yelled full of rage. 

Cody looked confused for a moment before he remembered what Barris and Ventriss had talked about when they landed on the planet surface. 

"You made more jedi into those....." Cody couldn't finish as he closed his eyes trying to rid the image of Barris's face. First when he fought her, then when he first saw her in the med bay. 

He had to take a knee as his head swam and his stomach began to twist painfully, he could feel the memories crash in his head over and over agean until he felt a small, but familiar, hand on his forearm. 

Looking up he saw Barris before she pulled him into a tight hug, her arms wrapped around his shoulders as his around her waist. 

"We helped the Sith because we only wanted our survival.....it seems as though we have only helped in our destruction" Mother Talzin said her voice sullen. 

Barris looked to Mother Talzin before she squeezed Cody gently and stood up.

Her legs shook slightly as she looked at Mother Talzin dead in the eye. 

"Do you still want to survive?" Barris voice was far stronger than her legs, and she continued, though her hear thundered in her ears. "Because right now there is only one option, we work together. He might be expecting the night sisters to put up a fight, but he expected you to be alone, which your not"

"Your not a Jedi any more little one. what exactly can you do to help us?" the Night Sister hissed at Barris. 

Cody stood, his ears red and as Barris looked back at him she could have sworn steem came out of them or at least off of them, "She isn't a Jedi any more. That is true. But she survived the Sith, she survived me hell she even survived you. I'll be damed if she doesn't survive this.....Ive seen her do amazing things for those she protects. Trust me you will want her help"

Barris blushed before looking back to the Nightsisters and Ventriss, who she could have sworn smiled for a moment before it was gone. 

"Very well....What do you propose?" Mother Talzin asked looking to Barris. 

Barris smiled slightly and turned to Ventriss "If i remember correctly you once held a city under your control and managed to lure Master Kenobi and Skywalker in before setting off quite the trap"

Ventriss huffed slightly "But we dont have the droids or a man inside as i did" 

Barris grinned even bigger 

"They dont know that"
